Newbie in Need of Aid :) - Battle Systems (Yanfly / Yami Engine Symphony / Galv Animated Battler / Holder Battlers)
I have never used the script.
Try running the game using only Yanfly scripts.
Then try again running without Yanfly scripts,
but those other scripts.
It could be that the two scripts don't work
well together.
moving problem! (please help)
Why would we deny your request, but it should have been posted
in the help section.
Also make sure all your B tile sets have a star in the
top left corner.

Placing the scripts in the correct order could be important.
Place Yanfly's scripts before the other scripts since they
are more important (ie. they control the battle system for
your entire game.)
Turning Tiles?
For the map thing the easiest thing to do is create a map then
copy it. Add the new stuff you want in the second map.
Then when the event triggers transfer your player to the
new map.
You will need to insert control switches at all the transfer event that
lead into the original map. So that they will take you
to the new map instead.
Marrend sound like they know how to do that boulder thing
better than me (since I programmed my boulder to only be able
to move in one direction.)
Turning Tiles?
My game Giadon Saga has that boulder thing.
You create an event (boulder). The event is triggered by action button.
Use a conditional branch so that the player has to face a certain
direction to use the event. Once used set the event to have a
move route.
You also need a second event that is the new floor which will
appear due to a control switch you will activate at the end
of the move route of the first event (Boulder.)
Indie Gaming Questionnaire
1) An indie game is a game made by an independent developer.
These developers are usually new and don't have the sort of
resources big companies like Squaresoft have.
2) We join forums to get help, suggestions, share our ideas,
and tell other people about our games.
3) Because the forum doesn't help us in our development.
4) The benefit is that other people know about your game
and can download it. The downside is that most other people
on the forum are also developing their own game.
5) A forum may protect intellectual property rights if it
chooses to. This would be part of its code of conduct or
terms of use.
I spend most of my time developing games. I only play some games
and usually only for a short time.
The Screenshot Topic Returns
That looks like a very interesting battle system there.
How exactly does it play out?
I'm willing to test only if it's short and made
with VX Ace. I have only got around to testing
one game in my entire time on here.
新手报到, 我是中国人!
Ne How Ma. Wa She Kory.
That's the end of my Chinese, which after
years of living in Taiwan is pretty bad.
Welcome to RMN.
Mac's Melting Pot - Music, Graphic Design, etc.
I had a look at your portfolio's, but I didn't see anything
video game related (IMO.)
Your artist portfolio should have pictures of sprites,
character portraits, title screens, etc...
Your music doesn't fit into video games. Maybe have
something that would fit into a dungeon or something.
