Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy

Well, this game has no idea of the fact that I'm a late level grinder. When I'll have the freedom of fast movements (an airship will suit) I will spend a week just leveling up, I always play this way...

Vahn 90 - Bosche 83 - Oalston 102 - Elina 103

I play since a week, but I play 1 hour a day, max 2 because of my work... rpgs are my home evasion kit ;)
Well, good news is that I just checked and there's no problem with your party's agility. I'm honestly not sure why the game is being so cruel to you. I've always been able to run away nine times out of ten myself.

Good... Anyway I'm getting used to it, quite amused when I know I have to come back to reality. I just lost to Tendrils. I'm level 33 with everyone now (Vahn, Oalston, Elina... 26 for Bosche): I just tried to escape continuosly without doing anything else. After 7 turns I was annihilated and came back to my work :)
Cursing a game is a good way to leave it when you must.
I will finish this game because I like it, so, it's just a note you can write and put aside somewhere...

Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy

Well, it could just be luck... but just to do another example.
Party: Vahn (30), Oalston (26), Bosche (22), Elina (26)
Enemy: Arachnia

19 tries before escaping the battle (5 turns spent only tryin' escape)

a battle every 2 seconds, most of all unescapable
inescapable random battles?! Good god, I'm glad my build doesn't do that.
Had to replay through that dungeon where you save that old man's child.
That boss is pretty fun when I'm not going for the warrior like a dumbass :P

Well, battles are indeed escapable, but in fact even if I'm a little overpowered I can't escape the most of them, even when I have priority or when I "surround" enemy... I guess it's a speed problem, but it came through all the game so far. Hadegigas has killed me once because I had no mana, couldn't escape from battle no matter what (after 5 turns I made my tanks attack, without hitting a single time, and nobumasa escape, failing every time) and he used 5 times in a row quake... too bad for a random encounter :)
Another silly problem is the hit rate... yesterday I spent 4 minutes on a weakling because I was out of mana and I spent 4 turns without hitting. And, well... the second boss of the temple is really hard without pure mages... finally a real challenge not given by the hit rate!!!

Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy

Well, I don't know if the one I downloaded is the hard version, but it is boring the blood out of me :D
I'm at the temple of visionaries with the alternative party (I won't spoiler why)... Ami, Nobumasa, Darius and Siegfried at level 24 (imagine how long it takes) and... well, a battle every 2 seconds, most of all unescapable but pretty useless for a level grinder. I guess I'm still at the beginning of the story and I expect some twist sooner or later, but so far the game has excited me not.. even because unescapable random battles make bosses very very very very very ultra easy (without grinding too much I had a level 30 Vahn before the first twist and I breezed through the last boss I met).

The Way EP 5 Review

The download has a SEVERE bug:

If you import the Ep.4 save you will get the game crash... if you don't you won't have all you built. Choose your way. I'm on a fix (I was level 14 plunge!!!!!!!!!!)

FINAL EDIT:

This game's save point distribution has to be remade, in my opinion.

In the ruins you have 6 rooms of killer timing movement puzzles, a cut scene and no save point...
1st room: you don't die, but it'd better for you not to fail a step
2nd room: wrong step, you die
3rd room: wrong step you die
4rd room: if something goes wrong you don't die but you can easily stand 3 minutes in here (cut scene included)
5th room: wrong step you die
6th room: wrong step, you die
7h room: wrong step, you die

What happens to me (and it's a natural thing) is that after you have mastered the 6th you try to hurry re.doing the previous... and you die, so you start again and again... and if you had a lucky shot, it's lost.
A game can be unforgiving (and i love those games) but it's not unforgiveness... it's an hazard.

If a gamer like me (level grinder, dungeon crawler and with 300 rpg completed) got BORED about something in a game (I play even ugly ones just to complete them) probably something is wrong!!! :)

EDIT AGAIN: I quit... I'm a level grinder, but I can play 1 hour a day (or less) because of my job. I can't play games so unfair on players... if it's this way in the beginning (only level 25 here), there's no future for me here.

Chain of Retribution

Completed the game...

The orb system got me mad at the beginning, but in the end it's a good feature. The plot is pretty decent but it's more than well written.

I had a good time playing this game, but I have to admit I don't think I'll play it again (beating the secret boss at lv 60 made the game a 100% beaten one :D ).

Thanks for the efforts you all've put in here... It's been a pleasure!

Star Stealing Prince

If the optional dungeon is the nightmare castle and the hidden boss is "The Dream", killed after "The Slaughterer" I have made anything. I don't know what happens after the knife. The game crashed twice on that message

Sorry... ADSL is how we call the best internet connection. Sometimes I use Italian terms, I guess my mother tongue affects me when I speak.
