LoL you are right.
Second "glitch". I've docked the ship (it's been tricky but somehow I've done it) in the first continent and now I can't go back on it, can not equip suits because in this party "skill" has not been activated.
It could be a problem of mine, but I can't even figure out what to do: just come back to an older save file and repeat. :/ Could it be the real solution? I don't think so...
EDIT: Actually I came back to an older save and went through the continental crossway again. I have now a new problem: Can't seem to activate the echo screen in the caves to switch parties. On my netbook (I always play on my netbook) no button seems to work. Tried anything, but without success...

Well.. game has a serious issue. I beat the minotaur leader and it crashes "mid1 is missing" and it crashes. :( :( :( :(
Giadon Saga
I'm pretty sure anyone could be happy of "weakness spot defense".
In your next game keep that strategy need focused but give players some item to defend from status changes or from elemental weaknesses (even a bit).
I'm in the last dungeon (cleared the "optional" one), against the last boss and my way here has been a nightmare! The 3 elemental masters random encounter kills all my 34 level party before I even click most of the times.
Another hint: for the last last secret post game dungeon. Please, make a way back LoL. I've overwrote the save and now I can't complete the last guild mission :( :( :(

You could also put a megaelixir or something like that between a final boss and a final final boss, because you make game TOO hard to beat this way, Lei kills Kalo every round he spams flame II no matte what and... guy, can a single hit do 6000 damage to Sontu? It's a little bit unfair, there's no chance to keep him alive.

Giadon Saga
I'm in the final chapter, quite ready to begin the last journey (but clearing last missions is my actual priority).
The game is probably "a tad worse", you are right. No, Just kidding.
I personally hate the great part of random fights because they are lamely hard. I mean, if you are levelled up enough to one shot one kill A WHOLE GROUP of enemies it means you have grinded enough BUT..
There is no item preventing status changes and some enemies are just too randomly hard.
FOR THOSE WHO WILL PLAY, KEEP THAT IN MIND: You could get a match every 2 seconds and most of enemies hit twice and fastly so you will see 12 ENEMY HITS IN A ROW and in some cases you can't do nothing. In a certain area you will find an enemy group that will CONFUSE AND SILENCE ALL YOUR PARTY before you can even click or in another area a group that will BERSERK AND BURN all of your party. It means you have just to wait and hope you won't get killed.
Escape rate is near 10%, status change rate near 100% (even sudden death...).
Resume: This game is hard, but boringly hard. What you have to do is stand next to an healing point and save after every battle. That's the only way to grind. Even this way you will have to restart a lot (because of impossible fights, like the "I have all my party confused and silenced from round 0.5 and I have learned that's easier pressing F12 to restart than wait 3 minutes to be dead").
The next time try balancing a little more. ;)
Anyway this game has a lot of REALLY FUNNY stuff, if you're kinky you will love it!

That's actually an engine limitation. The Final Equipment in Legionwood 1 actually has the maximum Attack value set. Due to the damage formula the engine uses, it's quite hard for damage to exceed 6000 or so.
Did you know that by beating the Rift Entity, you've actually unlocked a much harder version of Castoth? It's supposed to challenge those who defeated the Rift Entity, but if you have an earlier save, try taking Castoth on through that, and he'll die much easier.
Beaten it and the game, completing everything. Micro-review
Story 3,5/5: Well, some good twist, decent PG depth and a very large amount of detail about pretty anything. The writing is truly great, it enhances the evaluation.
Gameplay 3,5/5: The very good AP system is a pro, but I found very boring boss fights and most of all, there is not a perfect "final weapon set". With my "strange" 3-dual wielders-1 all around mage party I had to keep in my bag two secrets swords to make decent damage after the secret boss and the final godlike sword was wielded for my sake in the last battle, DON'T DO IT. Not a great point. If you overpower your PGs you'll end up in ENDLESS fights with enemies meaning no harm and a ridicolous amount of hits needed to kill them.
Music 4/5: Perfect
Graphic 4/5: Very good, but very few, artworks in some cutscene and a well designed word.
I played quite every completed game here and Legion Wood stands comfortably in the top 15. Good work.

The second form of the Rift Entity has roughly the same amount of HP as the first one.
I agree with you about the weaknesses of many of the bosses. It's very easy to exploit these weaknesses. In Legionwood 2, I'm making these exploits no longer exist, though.

PLEEEEASE, in Legionwood 2 make a decent "Final Equipment". I'm against Castoth since 1 hour and a half, all level 50 with the final swords equipped. Well, NEver made more than 6000 damage in a row (ridicolous damage without the celestial mantle even with the sword of lore, 50% evasion rate). I'm lured by the idea to shut down the game without beating it. I won't do it after a so long fight (he's just rechargin SP so I'm boring as death), but it's truly unbalanced.

I personally hate you!!!! LoL
I'm happy I've downloaded this game again after experiencing bugs in the previous releases made me delete it. I've spent a lot of funny hours here, and even if I won't replay it because I'm pretty sure I've seen everything I liked it very very much.
EDIT P.S.
Except for a really few bosses you can power crush and toxify pretty anything in this game (including the Arena Champion): the strategy you have to display in random fights means nothin' with bosses that are simply too easy.(I've beaten the Arena Champ without even a scrap on my party and without using MP - 3 dual welders and a toxifier mage, and just made it in 8 turns!!)
I'm quite at the end of the game, Lv 48 with everyone. Fighting the Rift Entity I used a pretty easy tactic: I've been keeping stealing MP until it had 0, but after an hour it turns into something else and has again its MP... 2 energy bombs faster than my healer and I died. Pretty unfortunate, I guess, but you are really a bad guy! I will retry sooner or later, even if 1 hour of fight is pretty annoying even to me!!! LoL

In fact I had just a bad luck with the rift entity, and you had the correct idea with that sudden SP restore, because otherwise it could have been just a patience trial instead of an hard optional super boss: if you put its sp to 0 it just keeps doing "restore SP" and nothing else meaning no danger at all, its def can be debuffed with a weapon and I just keep osmone and attack for an hour. Anyway, how many HP are left on it when it turns into the new entity?
Japan: Jubei's Vengeance I+II+III Complete Edition
Probably it's my laptop's fault but this game is full of bugs.
If you try cutting the bushes when you're a kid the game can't find the graphics and crashes.
And, after 1 hour of nothing but cutscenes I finally begun playing a RPG, but no matter what, if you fight more than two foxes the game crashes "generic error".
Deleting it right now...

Playing this game during a work travel where I have little to do in the evening, so I'm playin' a lot. This game is pretty easy (the first time I had to re-play was on the Nocturnal plains foe) but it gives you a good freedom feeling, that's not bad. My viper is getting stronger (but not changing lately) and normal encounters are truly a breeze. In the ice cave now... a little brain to put in, it seems! ;)
Enjoyable.
