I like it.

It's different than regular code, so yeah if you're used to that it's going to be difficult to adjust. I find the icons and layout very helpful for visualizing the code. I hope you don't change it if more people express that opposing opinion.

Knowing how it will work in 20xx will help us to think of ways to make use of it xD and maybe make suggestions of ways we might use it to help develop it better.

So is it going to be like changing a terrain ID might be? or like tile substitution? Does it rely on sw/var? Do you paint an extra layer over the map and turn it on/off with a sw, or something?

Sometimes I'll want the sprite to show in the middle of the grid and sometimes I'll want it lined up with the grid.

How is positioning handled for large events? For example, that mountain. Is the sprite lined up with the grid or is the event box lined up? Which would cause the mountain to be misaligned. I can imagine times where you would want both. For example a 2 tile wide door that you want to be slightly offset to match up with the hero sprite. Will I be able to control that?

When doing a composite character I have no problem picking body parts, but the accessory slot seems bugged. If I pick the mask it shows, but if I click any other category like Hair or even Accessory the mask is turned off. If I pick the mask and hit OK it will save with the mask on. It just disappears if you click anything else before OK.

In that same window, clicking the colors part crashed the program.

Alpha Test

The highest resolution my laptop will go - 1366x768. Which is kinda short. I can make it much larger if I hook it up to my TV.



I had put in 640x480 into the resolution part of the settings but I guess that's not implemented? or it doesn't determine window size?

I was able to alt+space and Move it though. I'm not able to press alt+f4 to close, but if I hit alt+space and choose the close option it will close.
