So just yesterday I acquired LMMS and Final Fantasy VI soundfont and decided to give it a try by doing some experimental battle theme. I think I failed miserably. ;P

If you can control the accents of the arpeggios or the background motives it would be easier to understand the pulse
What do you mean by that? Control the accents? o:

Alternate the melody and the arpeggios so the melody can be always the "important" thing to listen
Alternate it? Like have the arpeggio and then the melody instead of having them both at the same time or?

@Oceaniqo: Yeah, I'm still practicing music theory but hopefully I'll be more comfortable with doing something like chord changes and using a larger variety. I've got lots to learn in the meantime!
Your song is... very soothing. Almost like being lulled to sleep by birds in a distant sky, but while not being completely safe to doze off. I'm really loving that feeling, you did fantastically.
