I am a great mapper but I hate big maps something about having to scroll back and forth just drives me insane.

Zooming out helps a lot.

I don't really know about design but if I tryed it I am pretty sure I could make it work.

Plan everything. Keep physical notes and be sure you know exactly what you want your game to be before you even think about opening RM. This is why Oceanus died such a horrible painful death so early in its lifespan.

You mean inserting it into the game, or just making it? I have no musical talent either, to be honest. Which is a shame, because I value a good soundtrack over everything else except gameplay when it comes to games.
