New CSS style

Can you PrintScreen and circle the text you're talking about? You're probably right, but I have to know what fonts to fix. Almost all the fonts on my screen look pixely and half of them are italicized.

Which font? Woah how did the buttons get like that? And I haven't started on the conversation part yet as the background is still white.

Fixed camera is the default, I'm actually going to make maps designed so there won't be too much obscuring the player.

BOF3 did the isometric-yet-it-was-actually-3d-anyway look. I'm actually thinking of some sort of Bomberman Hero system (Kirby 64 did this too) where the camera could change to pan over the map in a pre-determined fashion to give you the best view. Final Fantasy X did that, but I remember it was a little annoying in that game for some reason.

I think people will not avoid your game if you remove this comment. You don't want to be compared to Runescape, trust me.

Proving once again in the unified theory of games for a weapon on fire is stronger than a weapon that is not.

Status Effects

That's the idea. And yes they would work on bosses of course. One of my biggest annoyances with RPGs is that you get skills that cause status effect you never use because it seems better to just deal more damage >.<

Status effects in WeaponBirth will be deadly and you will be using them as well as avoid being effected by them.

I think according to the math, that Wither and Fever would cut your max HP/EP in half exactly. Also, if you recover from these status effects you do not get back the 50% HP/EP you lost when your maximums were lowered. Some bosses would be effected by these too. But don't forget I will design bosses with these in mind. Like say, if it has 3 helpers who all are layering regain three times (causing accelerated HP regrowth unless you take care of them first) or if it gains triple the attack power when its almost dead.

Don't worry, this is the sort of game where you have tons of great powers and you get more at the same time. For example, Tetsumori will learn something that reduces all physical damage to 10% if she stands still (and can't be pushed by any physical attack) in the later game. It's a trait that allows her to suddenly become very massive (in terms of physics) where she looks the same but has several times more mass. She can't move her own body but it could crack concrete under her feet. Of course just standing still allows them to sit there and whittle you down to 0 anyway, so there's always a way around everyones' traits.

This is all intermediate stuff, I'm not going to have my digital minions rape you in the beginning because in the beginning I show you the tricks to win. No matter what, a primary goal of WeaponBirth is to have really, really intense action in the battles. I want to say "THIS is an action RPG, people". It's going to be a skill heavy game as well as a character builder.
