Houses with not much in vs locked houses.
What does RMN think of a town with locked houses.
On the other hand what does it think of a town with houses that are there you can go in but don't have anything in them really and end up being boring.
I myself have been doing the houses but im wondering if I should just make em locked so I can make the houses that I do detailed.

A good intro
In your opinions what is the best intro for a game also how important is the introduction to the game. Like Suikoden 2 had an intro while FF7 didn't really.
A: Straight into the action: Game is then a series of flashbacks
B: Hero wakes up in a village and does numurous chores.
C: Game begins in the first dungeon.
D: Blackscreen explaining the gameworld
E: Other

I think I was going for a suikoden style emptymapness when I made this game Im working on a new project now and it has tiny compact maps.

Stat ups buy using cash instead of leveling system.
My game only has one character and I was also thinking of making the game a lot more challenging by not having shops for items (You can only use what you find) Like vagrant story had.
Hmm what does this say..
I love ff7 but the games I prefer recently are either A: Very underated and rare ps1 rpgs and B Amatuer games made on rpg maker (Although exit fate looks profesional).
But ff7 can be hard if you do a low level run with limited materia. Like materia keeper can be a bitch at level 20.

Hello I need to get a sprite for koudelka http://latestscreens.com/wallpaper/Koudelka/koudelka
She has redy brown hair and will use a katana and maybe a pistol in game.
She wears a low cut top that is black and a mini skirt she also wears black leather boots.
I want big sprites if posible (Like the RTP)
This is for a fan game I am making.

I was wondering if a system where you only get money to buy stat or abilities would work.
So like the 1st upgrade would cost about 100 but only give you a small amount and then the next one would cost more but give you more and then the custom shop wouldnt work at all once it has been used 99 times.
What are your thoughts on a system like this the character would also be granted levels every time they use the shop to give the player the idea that they are leveling up.
Note: I think this is a game theory not a help topic tell me if otherwise.
