ZPE'S PROFILE

I've got my first interview in a long time for a community-based company as a Project Officer. I also volunteer there atm so the vacancy was internal and I applied thinking I've nothing to lose. However, it's based around working with young people (16-25) and I have no experience and I know for a fact that it'll be asked of me in the interview.

I know who my rivals are for the job and they seem to have jumped through the hoops more than me in terms of their career/education. I just don't know why I was selected, probably because I'm doing half the stuff anyway but does anyone have any tips on what to say to a question like "What sort of experience do you have working with youths?"
I know I can sizzle out but ugh, my mind is just blocked. :(

Also, what's the best thing to have before an interview? It's in the evening so I usually have tea then but I really don't think it'll do my gut any favours on the day!
