Lennon, unlike you I love Earthbound/Mother 3 but I see the point Veronica was making. I think he was just trying to put you down, IMO I don't really care even if the graphics are 100% ripped from Mother 3. As long as it plays good, you're doing great.

Vulture (by CAHRULL) is also similar in terms of graphics. Take a look at his Saturn house.



I don't see why someone would target you mainly. I think even Homecoming heavily borrowed graphics off Earthbound.

Anyways, I'd love to see at least a demo of your game so please keep at it instead of trying to defend your game against sulky people.

I've seen fruit that look like that.

It is a definitely matter of opinion as I think CT, SoM3, Soul Blazer have ugly title screens.

I hate interviews. Hate, hate, hate them.

My advice? Get yourself slightly tipsy beforehand...slightly...

Ha, I don't drink lol but man I felt dizzy in there.

Basically, this is how it went. I had a pot of yoghurt an hour or so before the interview. Felt good but then I started to get a funny feeling in my stomach (my daily struggle) so I took my pills. I went there quite early but straight away I was told to do a written exam! It wasn't that difficult but it caught me a bit off guard.

Anyways then came the grilling. I had three people grilling me with questions. All of them were fricking difficult to answer except maybe the first two "Describe yourself as a person" and "Why do you want to work for us?". The others need very specific examples, I could tell and I totally lost my cool during a couple of the questions.

During the interview, I had pulsating blackness which I never had before and I thought I was going to faint (stupid meds). Anyways, I think I did well at the end, as the interviewer was my coordinator where I'm based atm.

From reading their faces:

- Middle person: Not impressed
- Left person: Pleased
- Right person: Grinning/smiling (ugh that guy, funny person though)

I left with some self esteem though and I know where I need improving (that's talking with a direction, I got lost in my talk several times and had to trackback).

I don't think I'll cry over being rejected in all honesty as the salary was average. Still, I do genuinely want that job or it's back to uni for another shot.

Thanks for the tips guys, it really helped! Magi, I did exaggerated my example lol. I think he didn't buy it but whatever.
