he's somewhat difficult but not that hard as long as your at a decent level and have x-curaga, nobumasa helps greatly if you got his ultimate equipment from the tower of trials, since he can do major damage with that equipment. He was a step up from the bosses I fought through to get to him but still nothing too bad. It might be a case of me being overleveled though since you said level 50-55 was good for the final boss and my level was over 60.

well I submitted my review yesterday but it's still pending after a day, and I don't think anybody beat me to it oblic or at least no one has posted it on here if I have, I wish people good luck with beating that last boss I haven't beaten, they are surely going to need it.

actually about the airship, I was able to use the airship before the life shrine as well. I didn't know you weren't supposed to use it until after the life shrine.

well i've just faced omega, and I have to say this thing is beyond any other boss in this game, his attacks are ridiculously powerful but the main problem is his speed, even with all characters hasted I can't seem to keep up with him, after his launched a powerful attack there's a good chance he'll launch another one before I have a chance to heal, and a second attack pretty much means i'm dead most of the time. his exhaust fumes has to be his worst attack, is crystallises all my characters and does major damage, and while I can put a ribbon on a healer and make them immune to it, they then have to waste the next turn casting x-esuna and that turn is probably all omega needs to finish me off.
to be honest I don't know if i'll be able to take this guy down. lightening protection can render one of his attacks useless but that is unlikely to be enough since he dosen't use it that much. you'll have to very well prepared and be extremelly lucky to stand a chance against this guy, maybe someone else will be able to manage it but I don't think I can. Well at least I was the first to beat the game even if I can't take this bastard down.

well as I said i've beaten the game and gotten all but one of the trophies:
i've been unable to find this last elusive superboss though, I thought he'd be somewhere in the final dungeon but i've searched the place and he's nowhere to be found, is he in the game?
