oh man, i remember when Breath of Fire 3 did that. little Ryu's attack animation goes from flailing his sword around wildly to a confident chop because he's all "MUST PROTECT NINA ~JRPG HERO STYLE~"
wish more games had little things like that!
with the way the difficulty is ramping up though, i'd have to find a pretty bitchin' sword to even use Elijah's regular attack anymore though 8|
oh and out of curiosity, about how long is the game + how much leniency is there with PE for getting the good ending?

also this game managed to use the word "fuck" without sounding awkward so BIG UPS ERILEX

remove half a star if you can't stand slow walk speeds
(the game is pretty cool so far aside from that)

how would he even know what the issue is or how to fix it from that
or even that there was an issue

when a game gets featured, more people will play it, and thus there will be more people to dislike it
seems perfectly reasonable that people would start hating on it pretty much instantly upon getting featured
to be fair i'm only half-reading most of the shit here so maybe i'm misinterpreting your point idk
my point with screenshots was that even the positive reviews said the battles were basically worthless and the main draw was just the jokes, right? and you can get a feel for those jokes just by checking a few screens and instantly tell whether it's your thing or not, without playing it at all
the bit about it being unfunny was just me being snarky because i did play this (albeit not for very long!) and did not enjoy it or find it funny at all
