For some reason I can no longer pull up the main menu with the esc key or X. It will pull up every so often, but I have to hit the keys multiple times. Any advice on this?

When I download, google chrome keeps telling me its detecting malicious software. I want to play the game but I don't want to risk installing it in case the file was somehow compromised.

So I just made it to seaport town, but I can't really go anywhere other than the inn because those fairies that sell items are blocking the other paths. Am I missing something?
