British words and idioms

This just shows how many class words you Americans are missing out on.

I went to help out in a primary school a couple of times, and the teacher was teaching the kids to spell 'mum' 'mom.' It was so dodgy, she wasn't even American. I wanted to tell her to spell it properly, but she was scary, so i tried to correct the kids whenever we had a one on one.

There is a difference, photoshop is better. The pixels are more defined(i don't think that's the right word but..), so you can make lines appear smoother. I used to use gimp and i recently got photoshop, but to be honest, there isn't much of a noticable difference unless you really know what you're doing, and then you find that photoshop has features to make your work look better that gimp doesn't.
Saying that, gimp has features that photoshop doesn't as well.
I personally find that my work would look pretty much the same no matter which i was using, but professionals will prefer photoshop.
