Flash-->RPG Maker 2k3--->Rpg Maker XP--->RPG Maker Vx
And I have to say that if your looking for something similar to 2k3, you should give VX a shot. If want something completely different, you should look into flash.

He's fresh from his spoony cane-beating. Also, if there was ever an emo FF character, it would be Edward before anyone.
Fair enough but I never liked Squall even before I saw Spoony's reveiws, I don't mean he isn't useful in the game; he's just always been an unlikable character in my opinion.
Balance currency and items with dungeon crawlers? Must they really have either a town or a merchant?

Combat-Only RPG's
Sort of like that flash game on armor games that I think it was called Sonny? It could work but you better have a damned good combat system if you want to pull it off.
