you should resize to 200% before you upload though, it makes it easier to view

I did end up altering this with the winged guardian coloration for the wings, but this original actually looks better.

not sure if i recolored the wings properly : / when recoloring i normally just grab the color selection of something else, but there's no white wings in battle sprite form to draw from... maybe those harpies..?

No Jean actually, this one is some time after the second one, just with the same graphics theme ^^

I'm sure you're excited but there's very little excuse for posting three relatively unimportant blogs in rapid succession. You'll find that quite a few people are touchy about their posts being shoved off the main page by something that could have been combined into a single post:

Yeah I heard about it after the fact. If i could delete two of them I would, had no idea it would take up so much room on the main page. I made an error when posting the game, so it took a lot longer than normal to be approved, so Ive kind of hand all these things on the back burner and wanted to catch up. I know for next time though.
Now that that's out of the way, please, everyone, let me know if there's any help that can be given.

Seeing as you wanted to keep the names as being references to characters in the original, why don't you just try variations of them, like Cain for Kain, or Rosalina for Rosa. Just different enough to not look strange, but similar enough to imply a connection.
That would work : )
