[Review Request]
author=Tw0Face
I'm not requesting a specific game, but am open to a review on any of my games that currently have one or less reviews. I appreciate the feedback and I'd love to hear how you like the stuff I'm making for you to play.
I know you already saw my review of Trapped Remake, but realized I forgot to mention it here even though this post was what prompted me to try it.
Trapped Remake Review
Crabmania
I played through this and have some thoughts on it:
These characters are really cute, especially Crabby himself. His walking animation is delightful. The story is simple but charming and I was always glad to meet a new character and see what they had to say. And just mental images like a crab making a sandwich or an octopus playing a Game Boy are very funny.
I started off intending to take notes as suggested, but stopped once it became clear that all the ingredients could be found just by talking to everyone and picking up everything. Remembering where to bring items was more of a problem than who to bring them to, so drawing a map might've helped more than anything else. It took me 31 minutes to finish the game just by muddling my way through it; I don't think it would've been faster if I were stopping to write things down, but it might have been more fun?
There were a few times where I found an item before meeting the person who wanted it, which led to some weird exchanges where Crabby was fulfilling a promise he never made, and also meant I missed that character's initial dialogue.
Some of the text is a bit dodgy. In particular, there were many instances of "your" instead of "you're", and some where the sandwich Crabby wants to make was called a "Reubens" rather than a "Reuben". This could be intentional, as a lot of old Game Boy games had errors like that; if so, well done!

Monster Mash!
These are some good monsters. The frog and the pink cyclops guy next to it are my favorites. Is the blue blobby one the ghost of a bowling ball?
Soma Spirits
I played the Rebalanced version of this recently. The characters were really cute, the music was catchy and I liked seeing the differences between the two worlds. Also, I haven't played many other RPGs with just two party members, and this one made good use of that party size, especially as their skills got more differentiated as the game went on. It was a lot of fun!
The story, in contrast to the lighthearted presentation, was kind of horrifying.

Taking away people's emotions never felt good, even when I was pretty confident in the choice I was making. If there had been an option to avoid doing that, I would've taken it. I was glad to see everyone get their emotions back in the true ending, at least.
The Alley
I checked this out because of the SaGa Frontier-ish backgrounds, and ended up really liking the setting. My favorite part was
There was one line of dialogue that looked weird: It's clear enough what's going on, though.
Cool game!
the VR opium den
There was one line of dialogue that looked weird:
When Zak is about to hack the VR terminal, he says, "If we enter VR through here finish the program, I think I can find a backdoor..." The "finish the program" part looks like it might be a remnant of an unused line or something.
Cool game!
