i WAS not exPECting this to be completed so soon like this out of the blue, I was kinda waiting for another demo first
which is to say this is a VERY pleasant surprise. I'm looking forward to this <3 <3
You're right at that! Initially, I though about releasing it in parts, but due to several issues (mostly due to the engine) I decided to refocus on certain things from the beginning to end instead of handling many aspects at once, lol
The "open exploration" nature of the project didn't help either, and I was so against at making the players replay the game every single time a new part would came out or change... (because RPG Maker 95 has its own agenda even on this, as I had to learn the hard way, lol)
Obviously, a big THANK YOU for cheering on this!! ^^ Needless to say, all that support helped bringing this to life! (As cheesy as it sounds!) :D

So much flesh!
Hahaha, I needed to follow my imaginary trend of infamous GAME_OVER screens!

WHOA IT'S OUT! You have my respect, kain. Immediately adding this to my list of notable 2020 games.
Trust me, I'm more surprised than you that I managed to finish it, haha!
Thanks a lot Cap, as always!! ^^

Hey, that's fantastic news. Congrats on completing the game. I've never been able to find RM95 so I have no idea how awkward it is to use; I'm glad you finished it in spite of that.
Thank you, Atiya! ^^ Even though I own the CD version of the program (because I'm nuts for these things), I used the "non-officially-translated" version and I'm positive to say I'll easily spend the next 20 years WITHOUT touching it again. It was that fun. :D

I haven't noticed the demo till now. Good luck releasing Saga this year.
I've been rebalacing a bit the early sections after releasing the demo but mostly everything on it will be the same. Too bad saves won't be compatible without glitching some stuff, that's why I haven't updated it yet, in hopes of releasing the whole thing.
Thanks Cap! I'll definitely need that bit of luck, ^^

Just played this (i know... its been over half a year) and I loved it WAY more than I thought I would!
It's charming and I love your trademark of tiles, this sort of "fog of war-ish" i wont know until I step thing. It's awesome, and it REALLY changes up how you interact with the game world. I'm gonna go play FLESH now, which I bafflingly haven't yet either.
Too aweosme!
Oh! *_* Thank you so, SO much Joseph!
There's still lots of work and some rebalancing to do but most of the framework is there, lol I had a couple of very slow months lately but I'm still aiming at a 2019 release. ^^
You know I'll be looking forward to read from you again! Thank you as always for you support and comments!!

This looks insanely charming. I someday plan to make a game in RPG Maker 95 just for the hell of it. The jump from 95 to 2000 was insanely huge. I don't think we've seen that big of a jump in engine capabilities since.
Thank you so much, really! And you should, definitely! Even when there's a lot to stomach, haha
Can't agree more on that, they really overhauled almost everything in that period of time! It still, for some reason, reminds me more of a really primitive version of RPGX! Maybe because of the "materials" specification being practically the same on both version.

wow. its really nice to see this game come to life. i played it on one of my school computers and i was impresed.
Thank you so much for trying it, really! There’s still lots of work to be done, but I hope to complete it fully this year. Let’s see!
Mace Blue: Arena
I always wanted to try your older projects and thought I might well start from this one. The review that it got summarizes very well what I think about it. I don't know whether you're working on this setting or not anymore but it truly is interesting!
It needs to be said again, the graphics, as simplistic as they might seem, are really cool! I feel almost bad about the previous comment. Probably the only thing I didn't like was the only song playing, a bit grating in my opinion! I know what you where aiming for but... lol
