Read all of those topics and I still don't get how these little comments can justify a whole horde of people leaving a site. Just grinding at that stone too long? Sorry that you guys felt unappreciated/unwanted on that scene, though. Communities, especially larger ones, need to do a better job of making everyone feel welcome.

Horrible Game Endings
Breath of Fire II, the "regular ending." It gave absolutely no sense of accomplishment and left me a filthy taste in my mouth. The whole notion of everything going back to the way it was, exactly how it was, gives me the impression that I have been playing for no reason. Now, the "special ending" is different; it's well written, but I shouldn't have to do additional odds and ends in order to get a well written conclusion.

Watched my buddy beat the next 4 missions or so. My opinion still stands. The writing just isn't as good as you're advertising.

A buddy of mine actually stood in line for this one >.<. I got to play it, for oh, 2 or 3 hours, and I have to say that I'm not all that impressed. It has some great eye candy and it plays really smoothly, but I'm just not intrigued by any of the characters or any of the criminal elements. That said, I've been giving the same message since the first GTA. So, if you're a fan of the older games, chances are this is going to be your "greatest game ever." This one's not breaking my top 25 though...
