HELP WANTED: 8-bit Graphics Designer for Retro RPG
I had this issue with 2k3 on windows 8. I fixed it by right click and run as admin every time you open the game. It's really not a big deal.

So your saying you can only run away in an ideal situation, but that's not the time when people run away. You run away when 2 people are KO'ed and the other to poisoned and you don't want to die and have to go back to your save point. Run away is a last ditch effort not to get a game over. at least for me.
Going back to Basics, but need help

Fsm battle animations
Does anyone here use the FSM battle chars? I am using them for my game but with the animations I don't know what some of them are. Does anyone have a list of which each animation is?

What is the difference between the map making systems in each program? I'm also deciding which to buy.
Rtp Style battlechar sets
Hey does anyone know where I can find some decent RTP style battle chars? I use chara for my char sets but there battle chars are horrible. Wherever I look the chars are either to small or to tall I can't seem to find many at all that fit the RTP style.

PLEASE HELP!
Yea My friend said it has something to do with the windows 8 security. It seems half my game is being saved in a hidden folder and half in the correct folder. Normally I just zip the game folder and people can play it but they don't get the rest of my game that is in the hidden folder. I should have it fixed today. Yea make a game disk never worked good for me, I always zip it.

Some of those issues are fixed. all the houses are fixed now there is items to heal paralysis hidden in town, and I have changed the monsters stats. the spelling I still need to fix and the names. as far as background, within the first 20 mins of the game all those questions will be answered. Do you think that is a bad way to do it? Should I just have it all told at the beginning? And with Event004 I thought i fixed it by switching the precondition from parallel process to auto-start. I have a friend coming by today who said he thinks he could fix my save problem, when he does please try my update. Any other advice you have on how I should incorporate the back story please let me know. I have it all written down, but I didn't want to bombard the player with so much at once. And any other ideas you have I'd be glad to hear.
