You could overlay a battle animation over its monster sprite, although it might be tricky if you have behind/pincer condition, then you'd have to reverse it or something.
Alternatively, if you need to make the enemy disappear for the animation, you can do that in a battle event with a hidden monster that temporarily replaces the original.

Sweet, I forget if that was the version of the game I played or not. But much appreciated. I'm confused about both games, is the first being "remade" and the 2nd still under development?
AA1 is not being completely remade, I just want to work on it a little more before releasing it again. And I'm like 50% done with Aptos Adventures 2. The Lodge is like 99& done though I just need to fix the final boss.
