Thanks! the concept art is actually just a drawing of some of the characters in halloween theme I do for fun intended for blog post pic. Here's more of their in-game concept art:

And yes I've been trying to do voice acting for the game, it's a pretty hilarious and embarassing experience to be honest. I even tried to adjust my voice pitch with audio software, to see if it can fit for more than one character voice. At the end of the days it sounded so bad, I decided it's best to ask people for help to voice the characters, which is actually the most difficult part especially to convince them to do it,lol.

Well in my opinion....
I preffer the ones above.
It looks cuter and match the game better in my opinion :)
the shadows in the last ones look a little strange to me.
Though I like the shadows in the last picture where the shadow is on the guys back as he faces the sunset.
But when it is in the middle of the day I would take the first picture over the updated one. :)
Hi ellenor, thanks for the feedback. Actually i'm the one who is responsible for Nusakana's graphic assets. The decision to change the battler graphics is partly because i think the former graphics feels a little bit dull and less colorful. With the new graphics with shadow and shade, im trying to give a feel of heat through the island :D
Anyway it looks like in the ss above wltr3565 only include the morning and afternoon cycle, here's some more of the graphics with full morning ~ night cycle:
