I'm just an artist with a bunch of ideas and a good grasp of programming knowledge (not enough to fully script things, mind you, but enough to fix things in scripts).

Now how useful will this be. I mean, most chapters are about one element, right?
If so, why worry about this guide anytime soon? Or is this only for neutral characters in early chapters?
to be perfectly honest we're not all too sure on how the elemental tables are going to play out, if they'll play out at all. All that's really set in stone is that all 'elements' have a particular state to them (fire is burn, ice is freeze, lightning is stun, etc), and every now and again some enemies will be more prone to damage through these elements.

That's really nice. I like the negative space. Not everything is crammed into narrow alleys. With a good walkspeed, this should be an excellent town to visit.
The walking speed is the default, but you're able to sprint everywhere if you want to go faster.
RPG Cliche's: CD Style!

http://rpgmaker.net/games/3794/blog/7888/?post=388676#post388676I thought of another cliche yesterday:
52. Punctual Punctuation
The beginning of a sentence will always have a capital letter
It's one thing to find these entertaining, but it's another to think these are actually legit cliches.
Under the cases of 'cliches' tied to the technological aspects of a game, that does apply, but in the case of those tied to story, they are rather legit cliches.
Although I don't really mind or care if these are legit. I just find it fun to go through all of these and check off what CD does and doesn't do :3

This list of "cliches" is pretty stupid.
Here's one to add to the list:
51. Oxygen is you're friend
- Any humanoid residing on an Earth-like planet will always breathe oxygen based air
Yes, this list is, in fact, rather stupid. However I can list at least five different RPG's where this applies, so it's also fact.
