I don't have a growth mindset...yet.

Hello! I'm the 6th-8th grade math and science teacher at a small K-8 school in the Sierras. I recently moved to Oakhurst, California, about 30 minutes outside of Yosemite, with my wife and 16 month old son. Before that, I worked as a 5th grade teacher in San Jose. I love designing and playing video games and cooperative board games. My favorite parts of RPG making are writing and eventing. When I'm not doing that, I like to run, bike, and play volleyball. There is never enough volleyball.

I'm sorry to hear that part has been so frustrating for you. You can come here and ask before trying for 2-3 hours. I'm always willing to help.

Click on the 'show' below.

When you attack him physcially it says 'evade' all the time. His evade is extremely high, but Vellamik has an ability that lowers 'eva'. You can use that, and/or you can also use water based abilities. He is weak to them. If you have lightning resistant gear, equipping that will help as well.

Hope that helps. Again, please don't hesistate to come here and ask for help before reaching the level of frustration.

Hi I am enjoying the game right now, but am experiencing an bug with the jewelled ring .... it does not restore any AP, at all.... the health ring works fine.
Still this is an excellent game, interesting story so fa, great gameplay, through some bosses are quit annoying sometimes. :D

One more thing, I am unable to find a way to the cave in the Harolan pass how does one do that quest?

Thanks for playing Manifest. It's great to hear you're enjoying it. As far as the ring goes, I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working. There is a similar ring you might get later that works fine.

I'll put some help for your last question below...

In the zone just to the left of where you see the cave, there is/was a dead tree that can be burned down at the base of the elevated section. Behind where it is/was there is a small pile of rubble on the ground. There is a hidden passage just to the right of that rubble.

Good luck, and please let me know if you aren't able to find it. Thanks again.

Manifest Review

First off, thank you for the review MoonCanvas. It is always appreciated.

Now I would like to clarify a few things that were said for anyone who might read this...

"After I watched the end game credits, I was surprised to see that so many people aided in this game's development. You'd think at least one person would've contributed to much more unique menu graphics, considering the quality gameplay and length of this game."

I was the game's only developer. Credit was given to those whose resources I used, but they didn't make them specifically for this game.

"Like all other games, the main character had "no flaw in judgment", a pretty superficial sense of justice, and a serious attitude."

Never speak in absolutes...what follows might lose credibility.

"It was also pretty generic and lame that he flirted with just about every female character in his group."

I have no idea where this comment came from. If you play the game you will see that it is unfounded.

"The premise of this game is that the Thymetian race is terrified of Theolars because Theolars have mystical powers."

It became clear to me after reading some the reviewer's posts on the game page, that he/she had been "skimming" some of the text. The three quotes above helped to confirm this.

Other than those issues and my gripe with the use of the word "generic" in regard to the plot (Play it and see =)), I thought what you said about using mostly standard graphics was fair. That is important to some people. Thank you again for taking the time to play and review Manifest.

Manifest

@MoonCanvas - I appreciate that and look forward to it. Thank you.

Spoiler alert and question:

Update; what're the values of the letters during the laboratory from the other dimension? I assume C is supposed to be a value of 0 because I've never seen it, but I'm lost on this after being so cocky about it in the beginning. Tell me the values brodog!

Here you are...

A = 4 B = 3 C = 0 D = 5 E = 1 F = 8 G = 6 H = 2 I = 7 J = 9

Hope you enjoy. Let me know if you need anything else.

I beat that Thymetian place in the ice area and then got the goods from the ice tower nearby after solving its puzzles. Now what do I do?

Hi MoonCanvas. Thanks for playing Manifest.

Some help below...

You'll need to go after the zeppelin, which is in a cave on the western side of the mainland. You can take the boat back toward Faergrad, but keep going to the left of it, under the mainland bridge, and around the left side of the continent. You'll see a branching waterway, and if you dock on the top side of it, you'll find the cave just above it.

Please let me know if you have any other questions. Have fun!

Optional Quests and Dungeons

You solved the first ruins very quickly...pretty impressive. Will there be another batch of videos?
