I agree Harmonic. As long as the thing works and does it's job, then I don't care about the other details. It's people who want things perfectly done to the tee that pisses me off a bit. We are one person and can only do so much. If I was making Monopolo with that idea, then we would only be 20% done. Better to be 65% then that huh?

For me it's pretty much the primedays are:
When S4D Has Day Off / WEEKDAYS:
11 A.M. - 2 P.M.
A good solid amount of time on the game, peaceful because my brother is off to work and I can just sit and make Monopolo grooving to some tunes of all sorts.
10 P.M. - 12 A.M.
After everyone hits the lights, I will go to work! I find myself more productive at night because there are no distractions of TV or video games. Everything in my room is bare...so GET TO WORK!!!
When S4D Has To Go To Work / WEEKENDS:
1 P.M. - 3 P.M. (And 12 A.M. - 1 A.M.)
I never use the excuse that just because your going to work or coming home after a long day that you can't do something! So even if it's for a little while...I get crackin!!!
I think I have good solid playing time as my love for playing console games have dried up and I much rather work on my own projects, there is the odd time I will break from pattern...but this is pretty much the standard.
I find that schedule making is a good thing, but feel free to shuffle it up once and awhile! You can't always work at these times...so try and shift it up once and awhile or have a break day! It can do wonders for you. The main goal is to try and WORK on the project whenever you can. :)
Oh! And I get up at 7 A.M! Watch some sports before hitting the shower, reading the paper...and getting ready for the work day. ^^

Star Ocean Eternity was a board I used to go on quite a lot back in the days, as I was a really big fan of the Star Ocean days back when Star Ocean: The Second Story was king of the PS jungle, and fanboys / girls were everywhere...it led me to RPG Maker, making my own site, and among many things...without it...I would never have discovered RPG Maker.
But in the last year or so I have distanced myself a lot from these people, as we are all heading our own separate ways. Some of them are in college, while one is HEAVY into anime conventions and stuff...me? I'm more the guy who loves watching sports and enjoys a good talk about hockey. But these things have bore people over there...I used to be the talk of that board...but now I'm the castaway.
Just recently...a new guy has appeared on the board from out of the blue, and I'm all and down for new people...but this guy...has become my newest rival! He's basically a fantastic artist with a degree into game design. Him and his company are working on a MMO Star Ocean fangame which of course...has rocked our board senseless! He provided some facts and pictures but he had no gameplay. Still...I supported him and thought it was cool.
Then I posted my Monopoly movie, only to have 4 lousy views and be BUMPED down from the front page by him, it seems like he didn't like competition.
Since then I have became the castaway, the old guard, the old man. I have been tossed away like a used lunch bag replaced by a guy who's a better artist then me, made a way better Star Ocean fangame then me, while my game has gameplay and stuff and is making some damn good progress...people don't believe me and think that will come out when hell freezes over. Wow...I'm the loner who talks to himself on that board.
*sigh* so maybe it's time to say **** to my old buddies and take my ship somewhere else. But alas...GW is the same like them, although improving over time...still there are some bad vibes there. RMN is the best place on earth! No disses, no challenges of you better finish that game in 13 days or be banned, nope! simple, quiet...just like the olden days.
I was going to have a second thread on that forum when Monopoly was finished, but now I doubt they will even care...or that guy will bump it down to get attention towards his project...wow.
