I got stuck again, I am at the castle, and just fought aerith or something like that, and the empress and cara just left. Dagger says they have gone to a tower up north but i cannot find where to go. Help again please.

Now I understand what you're talking about, but that doesn't answer where the ridiculous speed increase started happening.
it started somewhere just after i beat the guy doing the "earthquakes" a long time ago but i just persevered

I managed to finish the game but WITHOUT getting the final elements not sure if i should have been able to do that but hey ho. Good game without the glitches.

Ok, I have a MAJOR problem, the game speed has gone really fast and it is hard to go through doors etc without problems, but I am now in a tower going to fight Algad and the room on the left has a puzzle where the amount of steps matters. The problem is i cannot move just 1 square cos of the speed so i cannot get through that room. How the hell can i get the speed back to normal? It is hard enough in caves but that room is impossible
