I'd just like to see, once in my life, people exercise their holier-than-thou attitudes by effecting positive change in, say, the many threads about social issues which have invariably seen the OP shouted down for being critical of gaming culture or whatever.

it's literally the easiest thing in the world to see someone offput by someone being a weird creepy asshole and go 'well YOU'RE the hypocrite here' and feel better about yourself, and I'm real fucking disappointed that so many people are taking this shortcut
on the offchance that this even-handed air you're all putting on isn't utterly fake, I look forward to seeing this newfound bodhisattvah-like patience that you'll all engage your fellow forum members with from here on out
