I use missile, now if it does what if did in the games we might have a chance or if it explodes in a giant fireball when it hits either way.

How friendly is C++?
If you want a friendly programming language to learn go python, as it is one of the friendliest out there and should be able to do anything you want fine. Go python 3 unless you need a library that isn't compatible with it, of course with the right choices you can get most major languages working with it to allow you to use most things out there. Also just remembered but what exactly do you want to do? as that can matter a lot for some things.
Make an Interactive Fiction challenge!!!
Okay, turns out making a game with something that you don't already understand and of a type that you don't have experience with doesn't work to well. I haven't really got a game right now so much as a small world filled with people that is easily expandable a good example of why zombies are terrifying and dangerous. I'll chuck it in my locker anyway as other people could probably take ideas from how I deal with mass producing stuff as that was my biggest problem which I still haven't completely solved but nearly completely have as of about half an hour ago so way too late to matter. But no yeah I'll chuck it my locker anyway as there is nothing better to do with it.
Note: If you try running it and it fails try changing it to Glulx format.

I massively struggled with the politics side so mines about a zombie infection being released to choose a god of zombies, all it really is is a world that full of randomly generated people where you have to try and eat as much people as possible before all the humans get destroyed due to all people being simulated. If could actually be a pretty good game if it had enough effort put in to make have a big enough world with some kind of scavenging system to give you another goal but I haven't been able to put those in properly so I'm just going to try and have an explorable world with a kill everything plot.

You did better then I did unless I get a piece of inspiration soon mine's going to turn out fairly bland even if it is fairly in depth for the detail.

Breaking the fourth wall in games
I personally believe that the only time it should be broken is for humor and even then not unless your game is meant to be humorous as otherwise it detracts from the realism too much. What that means is that I also don't think it should be used in instructions unless absolutely necessary of course I''m sure quite a lot of people disagree on that but I use it mainly because I think if your game needs tutorial for basic controls ever it's too complicated.

It is difficult, however I finally managed to think of a way to include a plot without really including one while also allowing for near infinite expansion if needed. It's been pretty interesting so far even with me now being up to the boring bit of creating a town and a suitable amount of people so I'm able to add my puzzles which are currently looking like they'll be about being nice or beating zombies up. Overall it's better than I expected. Also this may seem stupid but how would we go about submitting a game once it's done? as I have no idea how I'll go about it.
