This is great! I know the feeling of still trying to push your project along in 2k3, especially with so many other viable methods of production available. I've really been intent on hearing word on Revelations' status, and I'm glad it's still going and I can't wait to see what you've been working on!

Oh yeah! Thanks Oblic, I noticed it a while ago, but never got around to updating the picture. Yeah the Dragoon class is accessible by Monk and Assassin classes, while Outcast is accessible by an adept and a bandit. Got a little Arrow happy.
What music gets you going/pumped up?
My taste in music is wildly diverse, so it can change from day to day.
Must say Yuzo Koshiro has some great tracks when it comes to "pumped up" Music. Listening to the street fighter III: 3rd strike (original by INFINITE) opening makes me want to smack the life out of someone.
As of a few months back this song by O.O.R. really has become a regular on my playlist
The group Unchain is amazing, and this song is one of their many masterpieces

Faith, religion, and you
Hmmm... Been a long time since I've been on RMN...
Anyway, to contribute to this discussion, I am somewhat proud to call my self a Christian, but I completely follow the example of Jesus Christ. Not born a Christian, I actually became a christian in my preteen years.
Regardless, I am not in the connotative sense a christian, (Not reading any of the previous pages of this post, I can only assume there were a few 'BIBLE-THUMPING-SON BITCH-NUTCASE-CHRISTIAN'-esque posts). But i am a christian in denotative sense. I make no effort to force ANY belief that I have upon someone else, as that is not what the religion is about in the first place.
I am very scientifically minded, and I understand science very well (31 on ACT!), and I partially agree with some theories presented as to the origin of species and related topics.
Personally, I believe that the world operates as a giant program and we operate on a string of giant if/then equations. Maybe that is just my bias as a computer nut.
I hope that no one is offended by anything I've said, but if so
DEAL WITH IT.

I really hate, hate, hate gambling minigames. I cannot describe the depth of my hatred.
At some point I'm sure I had a logical justification for why I hate them. Something about save points, I think it was. Irrelevant now. At this point I no longer need a reason; any justification is overshadowed by my dark obsession. I no longer need logic, coherence, or anything even remotely approaching civility. I feel nothing but impartial, mindless rage. You cannot justify this card game to me; it will be your downfall regardless. My quest for vengeance against those who insert this filth into their games is boundless and insatiable. My soul broils at the thought.
If I encounter one more virtual casino in an RPG, if I load your game and reach this NPC, I will kill myself. Then when my tainted spirit reaches its fiery destination in the afterlife, I will topple the master of that dark place and take it over as my own domain. From my black throne, I will lash together a machine of blood and bone, and fueled by my hatred for your awful minigame this fear engine will bore a hole between this world and that one. When the tear begins to open, you will hear the sound of children screaming - as though from a great distance. A smoking orb of nothing will grow above your bed, and from it will emerge a thousand starving crows. As I slip through the widening maw in my new form, you will catch only a glimpse of my radiance before you are incinerated. Then, as tears of bubbling pitch stream down my face, my dark work will begin. I will open one of my six mouths, and I will sing the song that ends the Earth.

I know I'm responding a bit late, (Went and played FFV!) but no, the class system is going to be a bit different than 5, for many reasons.
(1)For the most part, once you choose to go down a path, you have made a final decision. Each character with a Grant Board is granted atleast one Renege, as you can tell by the definition, Reneging allows the player to revert the previous class and go down another pass with all previous skills learned.
(2)With a level limit of 99, it will be impossible to achieve God Status with any normal character, even by giving them Haven fruits (Special fruits that raise certain stats). I may have a couple secret characters that can be unlocked with amazing ability. But at this point there is no plan to have these characters available during the normal story. The stat increases for most class will call for somewhat unbalanced characters relying on other party members.
(3) The job system is also it's own separate entity, consisting of 15 separate jobs that will play a role in exploration and relation to characters in the world, from Merchants to engineers.
