EvilEagles yells worryingly as he senses an enormous power growing from within the enemy. It's so massive that he reckons everything might be over if they don't start defending themselves right now.
"However, since it's gonna attack, it might expose its own weakness." He thinks. "Maybe the red core on its chest is its heart. We must find a way to pierce a hole on that thing!."
"Elements dawg! I have a plan. I'll be covering both of us, so take your time, charge your power, and go all out on the core on its chest that will most probably be exposed while it's attacking."

Nope, the OP says 'Boss Battle' but I am definitely going to be more... Flexible if you don't want to play a 'I use this skill' type gameplay. Be creative and I will go with it

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I was expecting the Ultima Weapon to do more damage than that. +9999 damage my pasty white Amano-drawn ass. This thing must be the ultima weapon equivalent of excalipoor, or something.
This is just a random battle right? Can I use a smoke bomb to escape? :) I'm guessing that's a no.
Its giant laser can probably be stopped by destroying the tentacles, if it works like in FF7, but then I think it will use whirlsand instead to start sucking us underground. This is kind of no-win, but we can delay the game over by a turn this way, at least. And, you know, whoever gets sucked underground might survive, at least. So unless someone has a better plan,I attack the tentacles.

Dual wielding the ultima weapon and the main gauche, I leap through the air and attack Ruby WEAPON head-on!
Guys, don't attack the fingers, it will probably just use Whirlsand and then regenerate them. Not that Whirlsand would be the worst thing ever, since there's a cavern under the sand, but if it sucks me down there with the ultima weapon and leaves one of you guys up here, you're probably going to die.
