Something came up and I have to drop Game Gale to preserve my undying loyalty for someone. This person is more important than my attempt to get a pretty achievement badge. Sorry guys.

Having followed TA's gamepage, somehow I doesn't surprise me but I still respect AN's decision. Hopefully, it will still be completed sometime in the future.
Now that we finally decided on a title, my gameprofile is up: http://rpgmaker.net/games/2106/

I'll defiantly have something done and up for the contest, it's just a matter of how much polish I'll be able to apply before the deadline.
I'll probably finish mine very last minute... is it ok if I post the download on my locker first/as well, so there's no risk of the download not being accepted by the deadline?
May I be granted a one day extension? I dont have internet at home and I have to wait until monday to submit my game.

pfft, he's only got one internet! You know how many internets I've won over the years?

Calunio: As long as your download is submitted before the deadline you'll be fine, it does not have to actually be accepted.

Coy13: Just submit your game when you get a chance and let us know when it is up. You're on the honors system so it is expected you won't be using this time to work on your project and get an unfair advantage!

WE'LL KNOW.
i have all the internets
I may have to cancel...:(
I only started a few days ago when I noticed this was up and I've only been able to work on it for a handful of days, so I haven't got far...
Is it possible for me to get an extra few days to work on it?

Sorry, but you can't get an extension just because you started later than everyone else.
It's okay, but is there a rule about how long the game is on for? It doesn't mention anything in the rules, so I'm just wondering.
I think everyone could benefit from an extension. Even if it's just 24h. Right now it doesn't seem unfair to anyone, because those who already finished did it way before deadline, and those who didn't are all desperate and considering dropping.

A 24-hour extension would mean sleep tonight.
I think I might actually have to drop out.
There is no way I'm going to finish my game in 2 days unless it becomes a huge project (as in loads of people helping).
So far I have 1 person helping me with it, who is Crazedanimekid.
I'm only just making the first town, and I have only made 26 maps. And I didn't even make most of those as they are from the mapping demo by grafikal, (I'm not using those maps, they are just a base to help me out.)
I think I should see if I can get anyone to help me by tomorrow, but if not I'll have to drop out... :(
I scrapped the comp since my current project is so much more interesting.
More people makes development slower if it's not right at the start.

And if it's too many it's slower regardless.

2 people is great, 3 is okay, 4 is suicidal, more is a lack of understanding of basic project management. :D
