WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW?

I've been watching episodes of the original Star Trek series. I find it quite fascinating. Not for the material itself, which is campy and delightful, but for the actors and acting. What fool of a man was it who disliked hammy acting. This show is a goldmine.
Despite the obvious cheese and primitive technology, even the ham-handness of the moral dilemmas and melodrama present, the show is by and large entertaining still. I grew up with The Next Generation as a lad, and now this is like a blast from the past. Only further in the past and far more humorous a blast.

Yeah, the original Star Trek is still a fantastic show by today’s standards. I bet back then when this puppy first came out, it must have been like seeing the second coming of Jesus for a lot of these people with all the special effects and what not. I like the other Star Trek shows, but the original one and Next Generation are probably my favorites and still hold up pretty good by today’s standards (mostly because everything else on T.V. nowadays is crap).
Also - am I the only one who misses the World Cup here??? All that we have on nowadays on the sports channel is just golf, tennis and Major League Baseball. Ugh... I mean, I like baseball but only when the playoffs are on.

I'm debating if I should go back to sleep for an hour before work starts, or just have another cup of coffee and sketch for a bit...
Also, I'm looking at all the rules on the RPGology Contest and wondering what the heck that's all about.

Ahaha, good luck if you can figure it out. I've decided to just swing for it with a turn based version of a run and gun. XD (I have no idea how to understand them either)
So, anouther fruitful day of studying Confucius, trying to figure out how to mix southern sensibilities with eastern philosophy. Bit by bit, this mixture of American Southern thought, with the teachings of the romans, greeks, germans, iranians, chinese, japanese, and indian tradition is coming out with a extremely pragmatic result, although now I am studying, it seems the common agreed punishments are grim indeed.
I hope my plane ticket comes sooner then later so I can have something better to do.

Earplugs and a mobile gaming device.
One of my favourite sites (no not this one) is closing down Aug 1st, so I'm thinking that's annoying.
Oh and Addit, why aren't you watching the Commonwealth Games?

That happened to me with the Atlus boards some time ago. Annoying indeed.
I hate being broke. Next month is going to be tough, but after I move by the end of it, things should be much smoother. Plus I have a signing on Sunday. Maybe my print and sketch sales will also help.

Lately both shows have been generally unfunny, but this is jam-packed with funny :D
"I think we're in a town called Springfield."
"Springfield? What state?"
"I can't imagine we're allowed to say."

Stewie: "Your sister's being raped!"
How many last nails does this show's coffin need? It's like they hired a psychotic child with too much access to real world shit that they'll have no idea what the hell any of it truly means to write their "jokes". It's like "knock knock", "who's there", "genocide" *laugh track*.
author=CashmereCatYup. Do you not get the joke? Are you agreeing with me? It's hard to tell what you mean when you don't say what you mean.author=Link_2112"I think we're in a town called Springfield."

author=CorfaisusThat was one of lesser funny lines, but if you don't "get" the humor of that kind of joke then you never will. Btw, your example is nothing like Stewie's line. That's not why I like Family Guy though. I could do without that type of extreme stuff but it's funny because of it's absurdity. Stewie is psychotic, that's kinda the punchline.author=Link_2112Stewie: "Your sister's being raped!"

Random thing i haven't done in five days
Does anyone know how to get rid of a headache without a bunch of drugs? 'Cause my head is throbbing so bad right now.
These questions are getting less game related every time

@Corfaisus If anything, that line was a parody of how senseless the jokes on Family Guy can be. Bart was just making a simple pun, but Stewie didn't understand the world of family-friendly sitcoms so he just put a senseless joke in there. I think it was self-parodying.
@Link Yeah I got the joke that's why I quoted it lol.
