Right now I'm enjoying the cool rain and doing my homework for my three-and-a-half hour-long class this evening while eating Sun Chips and listening to Miley Cyrus.

My GOD the censoring of Stan is REDICULOUS. They censor the SPEED he's going at.

Asked him at a football game. It was really loud so I had to yell, and since I was leaning forward he leaned back a little bit. Said something like "Tell me you aren't gay so I can quit liking you." He said "I'm not gay" and his twelve trillion lady friends circled around me and got mad. Then I asked "Okay, so I have no chance whatsoever?" and after repeating myself a few times he said no. I asked "Well, it's flattering still, right?" and he said yeah sure. I said goddammit and walked away. I may have gotten tipsy off vodka and rum with my buddy afterwards but let's keep that under the rug. Least it's getting easier.

yeah, i noticed your name hadn't popped up in a while. come for a chat sometime, we can swap more tales of despair!
Really wish I had taken a gap year after realising my uni/degree aren't really suited for me. I mean I am a fairly chilled guy and am kinda smart I guess but I am in no way a "work hard play hard" person. What have I got myself into?

Not too late, can always take a leave of absence after a few weeks and get tuition and most of the accomodation refunded if it's before a certain date (and if you don't mind getting to uni just to leave again almost instantly and if you're just going to live at home for another year this is not recommended argh)
Other than that, it seems once you're actually registered with a uni, it's really easy to change between departments/courses if you've got the grades. Not sure how much of this is common knowledge but just throwing it out there.

Not sure how flexible my uni is about changing degrees but I didn't know about the refund! Cheers Eike.
