What is a Yankee Candle?
If it's a kind of firework, the populace isn't allowed to have them, I'm afraid. Too dangerous. Doesn't mean they can't get their hands on them, though. My sister last New Years managed to get her hands on one of those big ones that you see in celebrations, lighting up the night sky. She set it off, too... and the cops were fast to come around, but by then they'd gotten rid of the evidence of having had it (a friend took the remains away in their car) so they got a warning.

Yankee Candles are a popular brand of scented candles available at most department stores. They're the ones in the big bell jars that come in all of the different colors. It was my wife's favorite brand. It was the only scented candle that didn't trigger her asthma.
@nuhbi: I'm very casually dressed for work today ( aka tracksuit top and jeans ), and because we're getting a long weekend here, I thought I'd get in the mood already. ^^
