Oh hey, Dungeons 2 is free on the humble store until tomorrow, if anyone's interested.
EDIT: Is it just my monitor, or is it very damn hard to spot links in text on rmn posts? EDIT2: Tried turning flux off and i still have a hard time spotting them. My eyes must be getting old. Or tired.
And to anybody who didn't like Dungeons, DII is more of a typical RTS overall (as opposed to theme park sim like the first one). As such, it's also arguably more like Dungeon Keeper. So, I recommend giving it a try. Kalypso makes weird shit but it's usually good for an afternoon or two.

lol yeah. I mean, I get that it's an N64 game, but damn. And that fucking voice acting, man... I love the crap out of both S&P games, but the presentation can leave a lot to be desired.
All this talk gave me a idea for a unique event, but how about a voice acting event? The only thing is that everyone on RMN will need to choose one specific game that they wish to have voice acting in it since we all know how text heavy RM games tend to be.
It would be cool to see "Devil Hunter - Seeker of Power" get that upgrade.
Another benefit would be having amateur voice acting on your resume.

Not many people here have received even a basic acting lesson. From experience amateur events like that are full of recordings with cringey or bad acting, low quality recordings or files with background noise/static, and 200+mb uncompressed 10-seconds .wav/.wma files.
Idk i don't see it getting that much activity but again i come from a bitter part of the internet so maybe my jadedness is opting for safety instead of fun cringey times for funsies and whimsy.

So I was about to take a shower before bed when I noticed a bit of scruff on my chin and was like "yep I'll take care of that." I'm still kinda new to shaving but I thought I'd try some shaving cream since the scruff was worse than usual, but the cream wouldn't come out because the nozzle thing was stuck!! So I had to push REALLY hard until the cream came spewing out like crazy! I tried to stop it but the nozzle or w/e got jammed so the can erupted all over the shower like Krakatoa (can was full) Eventually it petered out but everything got covered in white smelly foam... took 5 mins to clean up the mess.
On the bright side, using all that foam gave me the best shave of my life

Before i knew about the wonders of shaving cream i used soap as a substitute.
It wasn't fun.

Lotion is better than regular soap. Shaving cream is better than lotion. Shaving soap varies: there are brands that are comparable to cream, and some that are not as good, but the good brands are far superior to shaving cream. The whole point of shaving balm is to soften the hair follicles to make them cut more easily and to make your skin slick so the razor passes more smoothly over it, which is why lotion works well.
Yeah, if you want a beard of ants.

Did ya'll see that this:
Is now a PERMANENT FIXTURE on the menu? I can finally die happy (from a massive heart attack).

I feel like I often join a community somewhere for fun, get to know one or two cool people but then the communication kinda disappears all of a sudden. I always get really hyped about whatever they are doing but lately I am starting to realize I might be pushing it and they never wanted to talk THAT much so they cut the connection...
Cannot get this feeling out of my head :/

It's somewhat normal for there to be an imbalance of social interaction between people especially online. But don't feel bad, a lot of people just happen to have priorities and all you can really do is understand that or move on to some other people that are potentially more engaging.
But idk, it seemed easier to make long lasting friends online when I was just a kid.

Thanks.
I like to take stuff too personally thinking I said something wrong or such or became too annoying. But it happened and then again when I really cared for the person and liked their work or whatever.
I am just worried when I let them know if something is up and they do not reply while being active actually.
Sorry, I know it sounds dumb and I should really let them be because I have no right to think for them. Thank you.
True! People often say to me: "It is easier online!" or "There are more jerks in real life!" but in my case I know the opposite :D
Thanks. I need to calm down, haha.
