BEST VX GAMES ON THIS SITE.
Posts
I am looking to see some VX games. But I am new here and so I would like to know what the top VX games on the site are in the opinion of you fellow members.
Without getting into the drama of the rating/review system, this list could be used as a starting point.
The ratings here always contradict themselves with the reviews. I have played 5 bad games in a row using the rating list.
I've yet to beat it myself, but I can fully endorse "Star Stealing Prince". I'll be shocked if it's one of the five you've played and disliked.

SSP is indeed verrrrrry good.
Anaryu games are typically excellent:

I Miss the Sunrise is intense but absolutely terrific. If you want a laid-back game, it's probably not the best, but... it's definitely worth a shot.

The problem is most of the decent games go unfinished, when several crappy games get completed. So choose your poison, I guess. Here are some I played and thought were very good. I'm sure there are others (SSP, One Night, etc) but haven't played them yet to know.

Garden
Garden I have just recently played, I thought it was decent.
Also, you might want to check the VX site which is dedicated to nothing but VX games. There may be other games there that aren't available here.

First off, Anaryu games are bad objectively and subjectively IMO.
2nd, thanks for the list f games.I expected more, although it does seem to be that this site is more XP and 2k3 than VX.
Oh and thanks for the link amer but I was strictly talking about this site.So I guess if anyone else knows any just come on down and post them.

If you don't mind me asking, what's a good game for you? It's hard to judge from this standpoint since we might be recommending the wrong things. Everyone has different tastes after all.
Then again you did ask for our opinion :/

IT WAS A TRAP!
He just wanted us to suggest things with him not giving any context or preferences, just to shoot us down and insult us. Careful!

Weird that's no where to be found so I guess your just an azzhole that came out of nowhere.
@Archeia
Doesn't matter, I have to play them first to see if there good s just name games.
Unfortunately, based on the statistics of the VX games I've played from this site, I'd say only about 25% are really worthwhile, and probably less than half of them are complete. I'm sort of pulling that number out of the air at the moment without hard facts, but I'd venture to say I'm close since I've played through hundreds of games (not just VX).
This site seems more focused on 2K/3 and XP, as you mentioned, which is why I suggested the VX site, but even then I can't guarantee you'll find a lot of quality VX games. Even the commercial titles I've played (Dawn's Light and Eternal Eden) just don't seem to live up to the hype of quality you'd expect.
However, if it helps any, I give each game the benefit of the doubt. If I'm not engaged, if it's full of mistakes and balance issues, if it looks like it was hand-drawn by a third grader, and if the story is boring, full of writing mistakes, or doesn't make much sense, I give up on it real quick. No sense in wasting time on a game you won't enjoy considering the community is saturated with hundreds of games to play.
