Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

"I've let money lead my sword for way too long now. I think it´s time I picked sides. My sword belongs to the king of Sorumasta."
"Hmph. Suit yourself."

-The mercenary class is open again. Gourd, you are free to create a new character, of any open class you like. (Hint, Myrmidon, hint)

Oharu is practically staring death in the face. She thinks of the village, and the father who lost his daughter. She thinks of her country, and her duty. Lastly, she thinks of her fallen comrade. She may not live to fulfill her promises, but she refuses to back down now!

ATTACK BLAKE

*Edit: Somehow, "Sorumasta valley" did not translate to a "Kindgom of Sorumasta" in my mind. But, yeah, it is followed up by "a tiny kingdom in the middle of the continent". So, you got me on that point.
"They have Iron Sword!"
"So what!"
SLASH!
"Fuck!"

I move to C9 just in case...
I will make a new class....hm...I dunno...maybe Myrmidon? And my dear HBB is gone, noooooo. We shall name this new man Cispolli Cadarvini. I patiently await my reintroduction.

Edit: And avenge me hardcore.

That a reference to the Cadaverinis? ;)

I feel no need to have Oharu use that vulnerary at this time.

MOVE A-3; WAIT

We win?
I guess I just have to Wait.
Man, that was one tough fight. I'm glad more characters will join the party.
RIP Honey Boo Boo.
So, am I joining up on the next battle, or do I have to wait this one out as well?

Also, maybe we should give Marrend the choice to change Oharu into a Knight now that this battle is over. The Soldier's the standard enemy mook, the Knight's the closest of the playable classes with a bit less movement but awesome tanking stats, and totally not a nerf from the rest of the classes.
@Jeroen Most certainly.

I'm sorry CD. Next battle thief and archer will join, but the cavalier is good for battle 3, I guess. There's lots of players, so it'll take a while to introduce them all. The magic users will have to wait even longer, I'm afraid.

We could have Oharu change into a lance knight, I guess, but he idea to have a higher defense for soldiers comes from FE10.

Now that our only sword-wielding unit so far is dead, our thief will equip swords as usual.

I will PM Jack and Ashara the details of their receuitment later today.
Yeah, I know. I played FE10 as well. But since what you're using here seems to be mostly based on 7, I sugested that...

As I said before, let's leave he choice up to Marrend.

And with things as they are, I guess I'm going to be a lance specialist after all.
I am definitely looking forward to this~ ^.^

I'm still working out the text and stats, so I won't start battle 2 until tomorrow, maybe the day after, but this is the battlefield. (May be subject to change too.)

I think I would need a side-by-side analysis of what Oharu would look like as a Soldier versus a Knight.

Also, we have 2,000GP. Shouldn't we have an opportunity to use it before we engage in the next fight?

The building just left of Avee is an armory. You can buy weapons there, but only during the fight.

This is the character sheet for the knight.

If you became a knight, your HP would stay about the same, maybe 1 or 2 higher, but not much, you´d gain a little strength and defense, lose on speed, and maybe on resistance too, and your movement would shrink to 3.

Loosing out on speed and resistance while gaining HP, strength, and defense doesn't sound too bad. Having movement cut to three is not happy, though. If there's a class after Knight, I might reconsider.

*Edit: Personally speaking, when I heard that Oharu could become a Knight, I thought that it would make sense to make the switch, based on the flavor of the character. But it would be nice if I liked the numbers as well.
Knights promote to Generals, making their tanking stats even better and giving them a secondary weapon. This secondary weapon has varied a lot thoughout FE, but since this seems to be pulling the classes from FE7, your new sidearm would likely be an axe.

Also, the General's weapon attached to chain attack animations are made of awesome

She can become a General? That works so much to her background, you don't even know.

Oharu, gets herself Knighted!

Alrighty, then! Oharu will become a knight, then.

I'll be hella busy today, so you'll probably have to wait till tomorrow before I can start chapter 2.

Seeing how levelling here is much slower than in the normal games, I think I'll put the level cap at 10 and allow promotion from 5 onward, rather than having the level cap at 20 and the promotion level at 10.
That is fine by me. I was already wondering if we'd be able to reach level 10 at all.
