NOMIC (MAIN GAME TOPIC, NEW RULESET FOR EASIER PLAY)

4...why not just 5 so it's easier to count? Either penalty or reward I mean.
For a sake of balance. I feel that 2 loses equals 1 gaining would be to much. 2,5 should suit better. Numbers are arguable, so you can propose your numbers option.

Also, 2 points for aye is necessery to make 10-bonus and 4-penalty more valuable. Because this game is more about proposing and not voting, so it should be this way.
I mean 2 instead of 4, not instead of zero.
I would make it 5 for gain/lose and 10 an acceptable number for proposals just because it's easier to count that way.
Only without bonuses for "yay" at all. With 2 or 4 bonus for "yay" it won't be easier again.

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

Nothing is easy or hard yet seeing there's no rule stating a win condition.
Um don't we win when we collect 100 points or something?

Not until we create a rule stating we win when we collect 100 points.
I was thinking about eventualy turning these points into a resource you could use to screw with other players, so I wouldn't really like it to be that easy to lose points.
Yeah but you could win as much as you lose. Double edged sword basically.
Without losing points 100 points and with points for aye 100 points will be achieved in no time. Aye points basically compensate losing and vice versa, making game more interesting. We can leave it to be just 10 points for proposing without any others, but gaining so much points from two sources and not losing them - no, never.
Also, Jeroen, it's about balance between proposing and voting. I don't need any win condition to say that get as much points for 2 success votes as for one succes proposition is either an overpowered vote-points or underpowered proposing-points.

I think the players have lost interest. :P
I voted nay already and just want this horribly bad proposal to be over with.
I don't see anyone losing interest yet. :D

Actually, I was waiting for CD to tell us whether his proposal was final or amendments would be made. That's what I was told to wait for last proposal.

Also I've been really busy IRL.

Well Cyberdagger hasn't really posted much and it is his turn, give him a little bit and then ruthlessly skip him.

Proposal passes, CyberDagger's rule is enacted and will be added to the list on page 1.

Fugue's turn!

My turn has been over for quite a while. We're on Fugue's proposal now
