Making it impossible to accomplish anything on Day 0 because the assassin isn't active.

Initially I felt a suspicious vibe from Platinum and wildwes, they're going too "meta" too soon.
Then I kinda thought Platinum was looking more innocent.
And now he's against no lynching... which confuses me.
Also the whole "I feel bad for the jester" thing.
This is getting interesting.
If anything we should be posting more.

Hey guys, just got hit with a great idea. Post less. It's not even day one yet and I've had so much catching up to do. And I don't really feel like we've gotten anywhere. But idk.
I wouldn't doubt someone being the tenkai or the assassin just because they got a PM later then someone else. It could be more likely that they have another non-town role, though.
Also, would it be out of the question for the assassin to have assistance from another player?
As much as I feel your pain, with a gazillion notices, asking for less posting is actually not helpful to town. The more people post, the more we get a feel for their play-styles, and the more likely for someone to say something they didn't mean to.

It is customary to randomly assign roles to players. While it's not impossible Liberty deliberately gave certain people certain roles, I hardly think it's likely.

@Pianoman So I'm not exactly sure what you mean by the assassin being inactive. I'm guessing you're saying that they can't be targetted yet Liberty just confirmed that the assassin will start killing right away.

By the way, what do you mean by "meta"?
meta arguments are any arguments using things other than what has been said in-thread.
Examples being using the posting style of people in previous games, or timing of actions by the game moderator.
Given that town doesn't have to kill the assassin to win, I can see a No Lynch on Day Zero, but only if there's no suspicion on anyone

The question of whether to lynch or NoLynch in this not a simple one, because a lot information is missing here, and we're playing an unorthodox game-mode. So far I've only laid out the first pro's and con's that I could come up with and they're mostly in favor of a lynch. I haven't taken a definitive stance on it.
You appear to be completely convinced that NoLynch is the right decision. That's fine, but what would really help is if you laid out why exactly.

Is there reasonable suspicion on anyone? The only one so far is Ivoryjones and that's because Ilan said "hi", but I was posting more and she wasn't sure about me. Cave_Dog, the guy everyone is telling me to ignore, made it about my post greeting Ivory with "Bonjour". SRSLY?

At this moment, no, I do not see reasonable suspicion on anyone. But there's plenty of time left before day zero ends.
To clarify, I never said I was convinced NoLynch is the right decisión (I am not convinced of anything yet), as denoted by my Lynch on MKing, just that I found you confusing so far.

I don't know about the wascawy wabbit, but I've made my point. At this point, ANY ONE could be the Tenkai star. Lynching at random risks losing the game. It might help if someone was trying to figure out who the Tenkai star is, but so far nobody openly is and wouldn't the assassin want some kind of leading information on who his or her target might be, and who he or she has to get out of the way in order to get to the target? At this point, lynching puts the odds in favor of the assassin because not only could you lynch the target, you could lynch someone with powers that protect the target.

So far, the only comment that had struck me as suspicious is this one by Happy:
where he responds to a list of accusations by Cave'd. The reasons on that list were fairy weak. In fact I think Cave'd may have been trolling with that list and I don't think he actually suspect Ivoryjones for those reasons.
I find it kind of hard to believe that Happy was legitimately convinced, here. I guess it would be a pretty reckless thing for him to do, to just hop on potential lynch that quickly, and maybe he was just 'poking' Ivory. Still, it strikes me as a little off.
