Close(Out of character, I feel kind of bad about what I just did to you all. But I also can't help but love the irony of getting struck by lightning inside a cave, just a moment after I said that was possible.)

"Is there more than one kind?" I start to feel kind of bad about saying that when I see Aldus' face. "It's alright, Aldus. Just warn us so we can get some distance next time."
"I had a nap Aldy, it's okay! I can definitely heal you guys, but finding food would be even better! A yummy meal would really help us!"
I take a quick look at the surroundings, maybe there is some treasure or a yummy mushroom around here? Vamous will give me his luck on finding shiny stuff and food, so I roll twice, I roll a 17 then an 8 for perception

I give a look of bewilderment towards Aldus. The already slim trust I had with this group almost diminished right back to zero. "You aren't a very adept magic user, are you? You could have killed us, you know."

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Right, so, I'll just assume you guys Soothing wave yourselves back to full as the summon goes and finds food.
After the lightning elemental flies off extremely quickly and everyone is healed by Chloe (herself included), the elemental returns with 5 perfectly charred (not burnt) rabbits.
Squeaking is heard down the left shaft, very distance, even after the echoing.

I quell my anger towards Aldus for a bit to listen to the squeaks.

*clearly a little startled, Chloe listens to the sound carefully*
"Wh-wh-what is that? A big mouse?! Will it eat us? Um... We should ch-ch-check that out. Do you think it's one of those cute kobalds that you guys mentioned earlier?! Um... You guys go ahead, I'll um... watch our backs..."
*while noticably shaking she mumbles to herself:*
"Oh god, what is that thing, I already got chased by a huge spider today, I don't wanna get eaten again"

(In D & D, being elves, Enna and I would both have infravision, or darkvision as it's called these days, especially me, being a drow. Is that the case, in this game?)

The shaft goes at a downward slope with the ceiling staying the same height, this goes on for 180 feet before flattening out and becoming out of view. Some crystals are seen on the flat surface and glow faintly.
"I think I see energy crystals. I can't see what made the squeak though. Hopefully, it's just a bat."
"Bats are skittish and bite out of blind fear. There is no reason to be afraid of them" I say to Chloe.
"Should we check it out?" I ask the group.

I activate Soul Shield and march ahead with torch lit into the left shaft, leading the way. I try to talk the Lightning Elemental into joining me at the front of the party.

author=Ratty524I don't exactly know what to make of Enna's comment. First, she insults me for no apparent reason, and then she states the obvious. How am I supposed to react to that? I think for a few seconds and then reply:
"You aren't a very adept magic user, are you? You could have killed us, you know."
"Do you think so? I don't know anyone who is as good at doing what I do as I am. Then again, I don't know anyone who does what I do. I don't even know anyone who can do any exact same thing that anyone else can do..."
This isn't helpful. I sigh. "Well, either way, sometimes unfortunate things happen, and if we don't like that, we must change reality so those things don't happen. And in this reality, nobody was killed, so right now I'm fine with that. As you said, obviously worse things could have happened, but they didn't."
Fully confident I have now cleared up this misunderstanding between Enna and me, I turn my attention towards the mineshaft. "An abundance of potentially interesting phenomena down there. Let us investigate!", I declare cheerfully.
I order the Lightning Elemental to accompany and help Agnelia, then activate my mage armour and slowly head down into the mineshaft behind her. There's nothing wrong with letting a little girl walk into a dark and dangerous cave first, right?
I don't want to upset Agnelia so I don't say anything about her going first, but I keep close to her.
