Okay, I keep hearing about some weird game with an odd name that I've never even heard of before coming to this forum, and have never heard of outside of this forum.
What the fuck is Persona 4? Judging by the cover (which is the best thing to do - especially for books), it looks like a Sim game where you help TVs cross the street whilst striking a pose.
Not very much a video game player, eh?
My answer; Street Fighter 4.
I've been playing video games since you were in diapers, sonny.
Yeah, but how can you not know what Persona is? It's very troubling.
Only thing I know about these Persona games is they involve teenagers, a school, fighting monsters and shit.. Or something like that.
Yeah I guess I can't blame someone if they don't know the nuances of it. It's just that I remember Persona 3 coming out and EVERYONE talking about it. I already knew about the series at the time, but if I didn't, I probably would have looked the game up on Wikipedia by now.

WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Maybe it's because I was never a Nintendo kid (despite owning one), but how can this be possible!?
I grew up in Hicktown McCatholicburg, Saskatchewan.
Everyone (and I mean like 90% of the boys) played hockey and I had a surprising number of friends who owned ATVs and dirtbikes.
We'd go outside and do shit, instead of being holed up inside playing videogames.
EDIT:
Seriously, if I wanted to buy a video game, I'd have to pray that the local Woolworth's had it in stock (they had one copy of Final Fantasy III for SNES - it was $110) or I'd have to drive 1h20mins to Saskatoon.

Hey, that's not a fair statement; it's not like going outside, being athletic, and being interested in videogames is mutually exclusive.

I was pretty much the only exception in high school, at least in my grade. I cannot think of anyone else in my grade that was athletic AND genuinely interested in videogames. My best friend is probably the closest, but all he did was swimming.

Eternal Punishment involved adults. I guess that's why I like it the best. Very limited emo bullshit.
My girlfriend apparently is getting me some mystery videogame for our anniversary (among other things we're doing/getting each other for our anniversary, since it's a 2 year anniversary and hence a fairly big deal) and I really have no idea what it is. She specifically said that it is not one of the four I asked for but it's something right up my alley...I'm pretty mystified...
- Red Alert 3 - this will be sweet
- Diablo III - this will be godly
- Star Wars: The Old Republic - a new MMO by BioWare!!!! And I don't even like MMOs!

I am very much saddened by this. I loved kotor, and I was hoping for a new one as opposed to an MMO. I hate the idea of buying a game and then having to keep paying money each month to play it. If you didn't have to pay monthly, I might be more interested.
