Oh, you didn't roll a crit hit, but you rolled max power on that wasp.

Agnelia scores a direct hit on Wasp 1.

Wasp 1 shields depleted.
Wasp 1 shield generator damaged (half regeneration power)
Wasp 1 armor reduced to 1.
Wasp 1 engine damaged (half speed)
Wasp 1 weapons damaged (half power).

Ozardel scores a glancing hit on Wasp 1.
Wasp 1 armor reduced to 0.

Well then, seeing as I scored a glancing hit on the enemy, I will continue with my onslaught and blow them to smitherins!!

And if the Gauntlet doesn't finish it off, the Viper can take a shot (or two)!

If memory serves, the Viper has used it's missiles, though. Keep that in mind.
You should number the ships on the hex map so we can tell which is which. I am also assuming one hex equals like a mile or something like that. (I am actually horrible with distances.)

Lintis, I do think you guys still have one stinger missile left, Agnelia only shot one missile not both. And no modern system with a brain would shoot two at the same time missiles when one could potentially get the job done.

Well, no, we didn't fire two missiles at once, but, I'm almost positive Agnelia fired a missile at the pirates we encountered earlier.

*Edit: This post.

Thank's Blackwolf! That's a good idea!

Agnelia has, indeed used both missiles; one during this fight and one during the previous fight.

Ozardel scores a direct hit.

Wasp 1 is destroyed!

Wasp 2 fires and misses.
If you are good at drawing or could find objects to stick in the map like asteroids and comets that could damage or help ships lose sight of the enemy or whatnot. Just throwing ideas out there for you. It is your world, your map DM...or should I say TM. haha.

There the free PDF of a Pathfinder GM Guide. Like all games use what you need, throw away the rest.

Oh! Good point Marrend, I haven't been on this thread for so long I completely forgot about that. Oh well, seeing as I don't need to get any closer to the enemy, I'm just gonna keep shooting and hoping that the enemy get's obliterated by Lintis in case I shouldn't achieve said result.

You're describing things that are regional, Blackwolf. There are no asteroids in this area. Also, I have a full set of Pathfinder, and I have AD&D 2nd edition, 3.5, and 4th edition, as well as Forgotten Realms. World building's muh thang. This game, however, is so disassociated from either of those games, I'm not sure how much help they'd be. I'm basing gameplay on Wing Commander's mechanics.

Edit: Waiting for LockeZ (remember, being a gunner, there's no reason that Viper can't shoot the second it gets in range), then we'll move on--though I'm pretty sure he's just going to say "pew, pew, pew!"
Oh okay. Space was never a big thing with me but your little campaign/story here got me interested. Never played Wing Commander. I see everything as Pathfinder/D&D since I never played any other.

I was thinking of inserting a firing instruction into my previous order-post. The Viper has no other weapons, so, I largely suspect we can go ahead with the plan of the Viper firing at the remaining Wasp?

*Edit: Unless Ozardel blows it up first! :P
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

In case anyone wonders, when I roll an attack, I roll a d20 for initiative. High hits, low misses. 20 is a crit hit and doubles weapon's impact. For weapon power, I roll a d6. Since different lasers and missiles have different power, 1 through 6 is actually a range, rather than a direct translation of number damage, with 1 being a glancing blow, and 6 being maximum impact. That's how LockeZ destroyed that buccaneer with a single missile last fight. For his attack, I rolled a 20 and a 6.

Ozardel fires and hits!

Wasp 2's shields are depleted.

Agnelia fires and scores a direct hit!

Wasp 2 is destroyed.

Lintis, Ozardel, Agnelia and Kassidy gain 100 credits apiece: the UAS's standard payment for destroying two Wah'ri Wasps.

Continuing to Malir.

Map 3

Map 4

You arrive at Malir

You find yourself in an industrial city. Smog clogs the air and crowds move about oblivious.

Rylah: As Katya takes you through the streets, presumably to a hospital, three large men approach. Katya backs up and growls menacingly, pulling you behind her, acting as a shield. "What the hell do you want?"

The the smallest, and the smartest says, "That kid behind you. She's got a mark on her. We aim to claim it."

"Fuck you, Jamis. You'll have to go through me."

The largest man to the left of Jamis laughs and says, "You think you're going to do something, or have you had too much catnip?" He reaches to grab for you.

Katya's genetic inheritance clearly doesn't just make her look like a tiger; she got claws to, because she uses them to rip the large man's throat out. Jamis and the remaining thug each pull out guns, and Katya leaps for them.

Lintis, Ozardel, Agnelia, and Kassidy: Stepping out of the space port, you hear a commotion nearby as gunfire rings out, and...apparently the roar of a jungle cat! It could be a mutate, of course, humans descended from people who were augmented in the heyday of recreational genetic alteration.
(Wow, so I take it my bounty is as high as Gaige in Borderlands 2. That adorableness kills man haha.)

I will take out my pistol and aim at the guy that Katya is not trying to kill at the moment.
(I take it this would be a Standard action of some sort or a minor action?)

It doesn't actually matter. There are no encounters outside of space battles. I'll go ahead and roll to see if you kill the guy, but either way, the scene will end the same. The only thing that can affect it is how everyone else will choose to respond (Do they help or just ignore you, forcing me to make you meet some other way?).
Ah I see well, I see Rylah doing that I mean if you know how to use a gun and other people want to shoot you kind of shoot back.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Within a second of hearing the gunfire, I've somehow climbed onto the second floor balcony of a building and am crouching down to avoid being seen. I peer through the railing at the scene of the commotion, trying to find out who's doing the shooting and whether they're coming this way.
