[MAFIA] - SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI {GAME OVER}

@piano I'm trying to follow, but I'm not sure how end of the world is equivalent to lylo. Lylo can't really have a set time. For instance, you say it's on day 5. But if we lynch all chaos before then, presumably the game ends. Or if we constantly no-lynch, lylo is much later. It can't have a fixed day. Plus demonlord mentioned something on day 6, which would be unreachable.
I honestly don't know. Cave has decidedly named the event LYLO and has identified it as the End of the World. He told me that it's going to happen on day 5, unless we're stupid.
Liberty
My power is an investigative type - one that I wasn't sure was useful with only three presumed parties (at the time of that post you reference I only knew of a possible three alignments. No names of them, though.)
Basically, I can investigate any three people at a time but if any of them are in the same alignment, their powers are null and voided for that day/night phase. I needed to double-check about alignments, whether it was just chaos or those in the same alignment that got nulled (or if is everyone I checked), whether I can pick only one or two instead of three (it's a full three >.<; ).
Welp, if you make it that long, your power is apparently going to have the most effect at LYLO.
Not sure why it would be tied up to the End of the World - I never got any information about that at all. I think you're lying.
And I think you would have at least known your power was going to be important for the end of the world.
I'll admit, it doesn't sound like your power would be as essential to the end of the world as Cave said. We don't have hammer. We may yet find out.
I don't know. He hasn't specifically said that The End of the World is the end of the game, so you may be right about that. SMT Nocturne begins after the End of the World, after all.
The only SMT I have any knowledge of is the one Nico played and that had the angels going to swoop in and get rid of chaos at the end of the week. ^.^;

Keep an eye on this group of lynchers for tomorrow, guys. They'll be your targets!
This sounds like a really scummy "KILL THE TOWN, AVENGE MEEEEE" thing.
Just pointing that out.

All I know about d6 is that town loses if we go past it.
You didn't say that before. You said you knew about an event on day 6 but not what it was.

If they're gunning for me, there's probably at least one mafia mixed among them. They do like to jump on lynches like this, especially if they were suspected before-hand.
I'm sticking to my NoLynch. I am never a first day lyncher, it simply doesn't work out very well, the odds are almost always stacked against a (more-or-less) random first day lynch for 'town'
Which brings me to this contradictory point, however...
I'm going to petition that we refrain from using the terms "town" and "mafia" anymore.
This game is NOT a typical Team VS Team game. Everyone clearly has different conditions with which they and/or their group wins.
From what I've seen thus far, it is safe to assume not every group is connected to an alignment, and therefore, groups of 'winners' cannot be any larger than about 2 or 3 people.

Yeah, there's something really off about this.

Yeah, but Ratty started the lynch and he's the only one that had any real suspicion on him. I joined for my own reasons, which were largely unrelated. You DO argue nolynch every game, except last game, for totally obvious reasons.
Next we have Kloe, psy, and demon in that order, and I'm starting to get a funny feeling about demon.
Liberty - 5:
No Lynch - 2:
Oddrabbit - 1: Frogge
Ratty - 0:
Hikitsune - 0:
Kloe - 0:
Frogge - 0:
pianotm - 0:
Lockez - 0
Zeuzio - 0:
Not Voting:Yellow Magic, Oddrabbit, Nessy, Zeuzio, Lockez,
With 13 alive, it takes seven votes to lynch. Deadline is in roughly five hours.

I reread the pm, and didn't realize I had it wrong when I posted the first time. I did assume that certain teams losing (law/charity), was part of some big event since I don't know for sure if all teams lose at that point. The going past bit was an oversight on my point, as I had originally read it as happening on day 6.
I'm treating law/charity as the town team, chaos/humility as the scum team, and the other two as neutral teams. So if I say town or scum/mafia, that's what I mean.

I'm going to change things here...
For one, I don't think Liberty is a danger of any kind at the moment, if anything, Liberty is of use to almost everyone if she does, in fact, have an investigative ability.
demonlord is really throwing me off here. Why would he REALLY be privy to this day 6 event, outside of being involved in it for better or worse (let's face it, probably worse)? Also, for what reason would this supposed information say that "town" loses if there is no town?
Sorry, but I'm throwing you all a counter-proposal here for, what appears to me, to be to everybody's benefit:
#lynch demonlord5000

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

author=ZeuzioAs far as I can tell, I think I was only told about factions that affect my win/lose conditions. I had initially assumed that was probably all of them, because, you know, it was four factions, and four is already a lot.author=Yellow MagicMy guess is that he's referring to the faction he's a part of and another mentioned in his role pm? As well as town and mafia of course. Or he could just be messing with people.
Oh hey, I guess one thing I'm interested in is that LockeZ said there are at least four factions, while Frogge clearly pointed out six.
I find it strange that LockeZ would only mention four out of the six....
