*snip* I did assume that certain teams losing (law/charity), was part of some big event since I don't know for sure if all teams lose at that point. The going past bit was an oversight on my point, as I had originally read it as happening on day 6.

I'm treating law/charity as the town team, chaos/humility as the scum team, and the other two as neutral teams. So if I say town or scum/mafia, that's what I mean.

And I still think that this is a large oversight, as well as throwing any alignment into any sort of boat when, from what I can tell so far, nobody loses from someone else's win (with the exception of something mentioned earlier, I believe by Frogge, about some faction winning more than another).

And I feel Demon is telling the truth, you say it's a large oversight but I'd do the exact same. It seems perfectly normal imo

No doubt Hikit and Libby are on some kind of team up, but that doesn't make them scum. Libby, I've got questions about, enough so that I think she MIGHT be scum. She was simply my best bet until demonlord went overboard being really odd.

I misread the pm. I had no reason to lie about that, and I had no reason to fix my mistake once I realized it.

I should clarify too. Going past game 6 does not necessarily mean game over. What happens when were past 6 is that town/charity team lose if they are outnumbered by chaos/humility.

If it helps my case, I am willing to give the name I was given in my pm.

I would never misread my PM because I'm brilliant and perfect at everything, but I have to admit that it's basically a five paragraph essay with a thesis and conclusion, and other people's are anything like mine then it'd be easy to misunderstand a detail.

The idea that the game might continue after the "end of the world" is kinda interesting, and makes me a little less suspicious of Liberty's attempt to nolynch. But the end of the world still sounds like a really bad time, and also it doesn't sound she actually knew that it would continue. So, I'm only like, 5% less suspicious. Not enough to cancel my vote.

My character name is gabriel, and there is also a character who I know is not in the game.

It's the second part.

But there's also the point that Cave told us that not everyone would immediately know their alignments.

A character you know isn't in the game... interesting. That'll help route out liars if they claim to be that character!

We do, however, know that my alignment is not Neutral, and in my case, I have a Neutral character's name. Even if demonlord does not yet know his alignment, it is clear that the "character's alignment = player's alignment" theory, may not be 100% accurate. That's why I said, "be wary"

Yeah, I kind of figured that would make things too easy. In my first mafia that I hosted I made a major mistake that let someone get nailed over something very meta. I didn't think Cave would make such a significant mistake.
