I still have my eye on Cap, but because I'm dreading mislynching with Ozzy's claimed role I'm alright if we go with the Ozzy lynch. I want everyone else's opinion before putting the hammer down though, and I'm going to feel mighty awful if Ozzy turns out to be town. But in the end, I could probably just be naive and somehow see sincerity within true scum. Though, if his role seems to be true I'm going to be livid at such a negative role being in the game. ><
Also, demonlord. If Ozzy is town how does that make it almost certain that piano is town? I'm just curious as to how that would work.

Piano has defended ozzy quite a bit, and even backed his claim about detrimental roles. We don't have any actual evidence if the claim is true, but if ozzy is town, he would not have lied, and we will have our evidence that piano was telling the truth back then.

I could hammer, but I want LockeZ, Cap and Ozzy to all say... well anything first, really.
Either way. Ozzy's in a bad place. His role seems oddly negative to fit into the Mafia game. Each role usually has its negatives and positives, pros and cons. This doesn't seem to have many pros in it, which makes me wonder why it would be in the game. And even if it is, it'd just be a sure way ticket to lynchville for just screwing the entire town over if we mislynch, so like... what's the point? Is wombat trying to make us think more carefully? Was Ozzy's role supposed to never be revealed? It doesn't make sense to me.
But if Ozzy's lying, that doesn't help his case either. Not to mention, it doesn't make sense for him to lie about such a negative role in the first place. It's obviously going to put people against him just because of his role, whether he be town or not. This is the reason why I'm on the fence. It just.. doesn't make sense to me. However, I can't put aside the chance that Ozzy just somehow got a shitty role, for whatever reason.

I don't why Ozzy's still alive. Also if he were town and there were 3 wolves, it would be exactly LockeZ, Piano and Demon. So, I can say without thinking that he's either a wolf or that there are only 2 wolves.

Yeah, that's why I called it a detrimental role. It has absolutely no reason to exist in this game. If the claim is true, it kills off two townies, and does absolutely nothing to make up for it. I guess it can exist though, and I will have no reason to doubt piano anymore if ozzy comes up town.

Ozzy was tunneling me from the beginning. I tried to avoid that, but all of his comments were full of jumping on new chic cases and some of his move lacked logic.

Anti-town town roles certainly do exist, the miller being the most well-known example, but I'm not sure I buy that in this game. If it is in, then I don't think there are 3 scum. That sounds too biased towards scum. Also, if it is in, and there would be 3 scum but not Ozzy, then who? Piano's claim he can confirm himself would become suspect to me, and with it LockeZ and YM. But I don't think so. If Piano is scum, then gg, you fooled me.

The general idea behind playing scum is to distance yourself from your partners so that when one flips scum, the other looks town. If you look at it like that then muffles observation is fine. Not sure if that's really been going on this game (I know ozzy has been dead set on killing cap h, but I'm uncertain about the reverse without a reread), but it's something to look out for.
To me ozzy and cap looks like the most likely team. It's not impossible that scum pulled off an elaborate lie, but at this point it just seems safer to go after the most likely targets. I suppose we won't really know how to play out the next day until we get rid of the obvious choices.

Distancing is not an ideal strategy for wolves. Town usually figures it out. It's better when you're able to townread your packmates.
I'm awfully tempted to hammer before I go to sleep. if Jeroen won't. I'll give it an hour before anyone replies...
PS it doesn't make sense for witches to have guns or for Mafia to have separate killing abilities, so I'm fairly sure Jeroen is town, for what it's worth. So if there IS another gunner around, it's best to align with Jeroen.

Well, it seems we've exhausted all useful conversation. I'm tired and I want to sleep.
I said Ozzy/Cap made sense to me, but I'm not really sure if I still believe that. However, I do think it's extremely likely at least one of them is scum. And since I'm only going to shoot one if the other flips town, I think it should be fine. Ozzy is definitely not a town gunman, Cap has some chance of being one, and if he is, he shouldn't shoot himself. Obviously. This alone makes Ozzy a better candidate for lynching.
So here's what's going to happen. Other gunman, assuming you're town and not Cap, if Ozzy flips town, then we shoot Cap. If Ozzy flips scum, then do whatever, because I will hold fire anyway since I don't trust that you're town.

It seems like a sure sign that Ozzy's going to get lynched today, and maybe it is the best decision. I'm going to be hella livid if he flips town though. ...but, as Ozzy kneels there, wailing and mourning the death of poor innocent Cave, something falls out of his coat.

Demon, LockeZ, and Piano slowly step towards the trembling Ozzy. Cap and Muffle try to drag Jero and Yellow away from the bloody scene, but sooner do they turn their backs then a BANG echoes through the mansion. It would seem that Ozzy T.O. Aremen is dead...

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I think it's very unlikely for Ozzy and Cap to be on the same team, as Cap's been very eager to get Ozzy lynched.
On the other hand, Muffle and Ozzy seem to be very hesitate to put any sort of real accusations towards each other.
I don't think the former means anything. It's a little hard for me to imagine the other member of the scum team NOT throwing Ozzy under the bus, based on how hard everyone else wants to lynch him.
I'm reasonably sure that the scum team is Ozzy and Cap_H, at this point. Especially if Yellow Magic was telling the truth with his drunkpost last night saying he could prove himself. Which I personally think he was, though I legitimately have no idea why I think that. The regret afterwards just struck me as honest for some reason, but it was only one sentence fragment, so he could absolutely be full of shit I guess. But I don't think he was. I think it's Cap.
And I feel fairly confident there aren't three scum in this game just based on how hard to use a lot the town powers have been - two people were each one-twelfth of a doctor and three people were each one-fourth of a vigilante, as far as your chances went of just happening to hit the same target without roleclaiming in the thread. But of course it's still safest to assume the worst.
At the very least, from my perspective, if there's a three-man scum team, Ozzy definitely isn't a mislynch. Because he'd be hammered by now if so and the game would already be over. Though obviously since I was the first vote on Ozzy, I don't think anybody else can use that logic, since they don't have proof that I'm town. It's just where I'm coming from.
