I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

The true table is now set. Esby the detective sits opposite the former Golden Witch, Ozzy, outside the Aremen rose garden. On the board between them, only seven pieces remain. Gourd and Cave observe from the balcony. And somewhere, a seagull cries.
"The game's over then," says Esby. "I died, maybe, but the Aremens and I cornered you before you could do too much damage."
"Don't get it wrong," sneers Ozzy. "I'm not the true witch. Maybe once I was, but I'm only the predecessor, just an accomplice. You haven't even found the mastermind yet and you're claiming victory? I'm afraid with their detective dead, the Aremens will be hopeless to solve the mystery of the witch!"
"There's no mystery here! You killed Kenton and Cave, and with you gone, the Aremens can get back to bickering and murdering each other and whatever else they normally do!"
"No mystery?" Ozzy cackles. "Then let's see how like this move."

Dawn of Day 4 story:
After the sad task of laying child and (murderous) father to rest last night, the surviving Aremens are exhausted in the morning. The hurricane continues outside, and a gray light penetrates the parlor where Demon, Yellow, and Jero are gathered.
"What's the meaning of this?" yells Demon, out of nowhere. "Where's breakfast? Shouldn't that good-for-nothing butler have everything ready by now?"
"I'm s-sorry sir," says the maid Cap, slipping into the room. "I haven't seen Piano all morning."
"Then where - "
Demon is interrupted by the entrance of the physician, Muffles, who clears her throat. "Excuse me, Mr. Demonlord, there's been a, um, er, disturbance at the room of your brother-in-law LockeZ."
"Disturbance? Lead the way. What's going on? The witch is dead, don't tell me there's more of this nonsense."
The "disturbance" soon becomes clear. LockeZ's door is locked tight, but the wood is gashed in a dozen places and a single bloody streak runs the height of the frame. Without even pausing to examine the damage, Demon batters down the door with the butt of his gun. Inside though...
"It's empty?"
"No," says Yellow, holding something aloft. "There's a key on the bed. What is this?"
"It's a key to a room in the servants' quarters," says Cap, "but that could only be... Piano's room? What's his key doing here?"
The same scene plays out again downstairs, outside the room of the butler Piano. Locked, gashed, bloody -- but this time when Demon bashes down the door, the bed is not empty. Jero screams. There exposed, locked in one final embrace, are Piano and LockeZ. A stake runs through LockeZ's chest, a stake runs through Piano's stomach, and between the two lovers sits a key. It's the key to LockeZ's room.

Days are going to be a little shorter from here on out now that first scum is dead. Also note Muffle's let me know she'll have limited availability today (Sat 3/3) and probably won't be around much until tomorrow (3/4).

Gotta love the choice of music though. Worldend Dominator is one of the best tracks in the Umineko OST.

If there are two scum left, we are at LYLO. Nobody vote until we come to a concensus. I don't think there are though. Lovers are one of the prime examples of anti-town town roles, and with how difficult to use both our vigilantes and doctors have been, I think this game is sufficiently balanced with 2 scum rather than 3.
There is no doubt in my mind demonlord is town. A scum protector makes no sense to me.
I'm going to take YM's claim he can confirm himself at face value for now. I do hope he will actually do it, because that narrows the possible scum down to just Cap and Muffle.
Cap and Ozzy have been at each other's throats all game. I don't see that as much proof they are not scumbuddies though. Hell, I bussed piano on day 2 in one of my scum games once and won. (Yes, I'm still proud of that. It's my only scum game I've ever won, okay?)
YM made a very good point yesterday. Before he asked Ozzy about Muffle, he hadn't even mentioned her name since this post, 6 whole irl days ago. Muffle's posts yesterday have also been very disgruntled in a way that makes me question how legit that disgruntlement really was, throwing ugghs and arghs in places where they didn't need to be.
One thing I've also noticed is that both Ozzy and Muffle have thrown the word livid about. Example: Ozzy in this post, Muffle in this post and this post. Copying each other's vocabulary is a thing that could very well happen if they shared a scumchat.

I went into that post feeling split on Cap and Muffle. That livid point is something I only realized just now while writing it.
I would prefer a Muffle lynch over a Cap lynch at this point.

Incidentally, the only instances of demonlord, YM, Cap or myself ever using the word livid on this website are these two previous posts of mine. YM has responded to a post with the word livid in it once, but not used the word himself.
I'm here for the morning.
The "disgruntled" noises were me being frustrated because I didn't know who to lynch or what to think. I was attacked last night if that's relevant to anything.

I really don't want to give my role out because I think it ruins the fun of the game, but if it might prove me innocent I will do so.
Also, my role ability has led me to believe that Cap might be innocent. So now I'm looking at YM, Sol, and demonlord.
I really, really want to believe Sol right now. He seems the most town out of the remaining ones. I really want to lynch YM because they were my second pick after Cap.
Also, we can't be sure demonlord's claim is correct. He could be lying, better than Ozzy did. He's said several things that seemed off, and while he has cleared it up and it could be mistaken I can't help but keep that in mind.

demon roleclaimed as Protector, a role name specific to this game, and claimed he protected Cave N1 before Cave flipped Protector and we found out he also visited himself N1, perfectly explaining why there was no nightkill N1. This scenario makes no sense if demon isn't actually a Protector. It also makes no sense if demon is scum, because why would scum ever protect the same target they try to nightkill?

I suppose it's possible scum withheld their nightkill N1 to create an alibi for scum protector demon, but they would have no way of knowing Cave was a protector or that he would protect himself. So that doesn't sound at all plausible to me.
Alright, since I won't be here all day and I don't know when I'm leaving I am going to take my chance now to try and save myself. Though, it probably won't work.
I am a paranoiac, so I can suspect and defend and kill someone if they try to kill me. I suspected Cap 2 times in a row at night, he never attacked me in either. But last night was the first time I got attacked, but it seems to have failed for some reason.
Assuming it's not just flavor text to get me even more paranoid, there are THREE Mafia left. Me being a paranoiac and not hitting Cap actually doesn't prove him innocent >.> Nevermind what I said above.

I have no way of proving this of course, but I attacked nobody last night as I said I wouldn't.

Oh I believe you when you say you were attacked alright. But if the third gunman is town, then that doesn't clear you in any way.
