CloseOn one hand, that's a good point. I mean, we did time out last game once. However, not having hammer rule has its own problems still. People can park their votes and be confident someone gets lynched, and then at the end someone cancels at the last minute to force a nolynch. Especially in MYLO and LYLO that's dangerous as heck.

Hammer makes it so scum can do scummy things like, well, hammer people at LYLO without town then running in and whoopsie-takesiebacksies when the remaining scumteam members pile on their vote. Or daykilled cops showing up to infodump when they should be rightfully dead, etc, but that should be less of a problem with this game.
I'm fine with plurality voting and a hammer for majority vote though.

You sit down, not quite sure how you got here, or what you're doing here. The room is stark white, like an old George Lucas or Stanley Kubrick movie. The lighting is white, the fixtures minimalistic; futuristic rectangular pieces of glass hanging an inch off of the ceiling. Around you are nine other people and at the end of the room is an old man. Wire-frame glasses hang off of his slightly overlong nose. He is wearing a striped, brown and tan, button-down silk shirt with suspender straps tucked into brown pants. A green eyeshade hat is perched atop his balding head.
He clacks away on a heavy steel Emerson typewriter. He looks up and sees you all sitting there. "Oh, sorry folks. This is going to take awhile. Why don't you all talk amongst yourselves! Don't mind me! Your paperwork will be coming through as soon as we can get it together. It's just a mess back there. Be patient with us, please!"
Day 1 begins now!
