CloseDon't worry, I was just putting that out there to see if you thought it was a possible good move. It's not necessarily the one I'm going to make.
Here's where I'm at so far.
Piano: Probably town because he got psy's role right.
Psy: Probably town because both scum used a visitation power last night.
Jeroen: Probably town. Scum would have had no reason to tell us about their gimmick.
Cap & Cave: Unsure, but I didn't see cave mentioning having limited shots anywhere, making me believe they do share a role.
Gourd: Unsure, but worth lynching if no vigilante shows up. It will probably mean piano gets one real result back each night and two fake results.
aneko: I find it a bit weird you didn't try to use your power at all, as it did give us a chance of nailing scum.
JJ: I'm thinking either scum or bad town. I cannot see a lone vanilla in this setup.
Optional theory: psy and piano are working together, and they put together this whole plan so that piano can never miss. I find this less likely, but it's not something to rule out.

Cave is clear unless he's on a scumteam with Cap, other he wouldn't have been able to exactly describe how Cap's role works, and scum having this role would be very dumb.
So both wolves claimed the same role, genius strategy.
@Piano, since when is counter-claiming scummy? This looks like power madness with every role being different. If anything my claim should make you doubt Cave's. For some reason he probably knew about veteran being in the game.

Cap is not high on my list now. It's more likely to me that there are two veterans in order to balance out piano's power especially as well as the other power roles. If he was scum counterclaiming someone in an attempt to get them killed, I don't know why he would go for me and not Gourd or Jeroen, unless they were scum with him.

I'd be inclined to vote for any of these three today. I'll read over their posts but I don't recall any of them doing anything to make me think they were town.
LockeZ was a protective too and 3rd protective would be an overkill in a small game like this.
JJ's vt claim indeed seems strange, but he has ove 50% being town. I would lynch someone other than him or psy.

Except you're not counter-claiming. What actually happened is Cave claimed first, when there was no way of knowing who had what roles aside from roleblocker, bounty hunter, vigilante, and medium. Cave described his role, described what it did, and when I misunderstood and thought that investigating him would get me killed, he clarified that he can choose when to use the kill ability. Your idea of a counterclaim was to say that you too were a veteran and that your abilities are exactly like his.

I'm going to ask LockeZ to take over the game for me when he gets on. I keep being reminded how I keep making mistakes and this is just no longer fun for me. I'm not in the position to take criticism or whatever, and it's especially hard when I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I probably won't ever make another Mafia game because of how shitty this one has turned out. If LockeZ won't take over I guess I'll just cancel the game and give the answer out to everyone. I'm sorry.

@Piano: Aneko is a poor investigation target. That she was visited should clear her, if she isn't killed outright tonight.
@Cap: Why do you doubt Cave? If you're telling the truth, he was able to not only accurately name your role, but how it worked. Not even a rolecop would be able to get that much. I'd think it waay more likely that there's just two veterans vs he somehow stole your entire role PM. I actually think the onus is on you to name the number of shots, seeing as how you claimed second.

See my posts after I entered the thread. Why would anyone post a picture of old clint eastwood finger gunning playing an angry veteran.
Wolves could very well have a role cop too.
And he knows the number of shots. He crumbled it meanwhile (at least i think so).
Also, he could come up with the claim after I posted a hint.
Or he could be the vigilante.

Actually, piano, what do you think about jero's claim? I feel like we have too many informative roles (witness, oracle, jero, you).
I've felt odd about Jero ever since he stretched on his complaints about JJJ and me joking. I'd rather not discuss the number of information roles or the number of any types of roles because, well, you know.

Sorry guys, had a rehearsal.
I'm a Psychic. On non-full moon nights (not further specified) I get a list of two names, at least one of which is guaranteed to be town. On full moon nights, I get three names, one of which is guaranteed to be scum.
Last night was a non-full moon night. (I also thought I read that in the flavour somewhere, but I can't seem to find it anywhere now.)
The names I got were Psy and JJ. Now Psy is basically modconfirmed to me, but if he somehow is still scum, then JJ is definitely town.
My guess right now is that maybe the nights go non-full -> full -> non-full -> full etc. But I don't know that for sure.

Oh, yeah. I'm giving psy the benefit of the doubt, right now. I like him for scum a lot more than I like JJJ, to be honest, but I'm pretty suspicious of JJJ, too. I don't mind voting JJJ. Still...ya know...

I've played like an hour of Town of Salem, but it struck me that LockeZ's jailor description sounded exactly like the TOS jailor. Doing some research, Veteran, Investigator, Psychic, Bodyguard, Medium, and werewolf moon phases are all there and work almost identically as described by their claimants here. While Witness is missing, so is Roleblocker so I don't think that rules anything out. It does make me trust Piano, Gourd, and Jeroen a ton more though, and mistrust Cap/Cave as veteran should be unique. JJJ is probably scum, I don't think anyone's vanilla in ToS (which is why I only ever played an hour of it, haha)
