[MAFIA] THE RESISTANCE: AVALON MAFIA - GAME ON

If I could vote to triple-lynch Gourd, Cap and Platinum all at the same time, I probably would, just to be safe. I'm convinced one of them is the scum who was responsible for choosing a nightkill target, and was AFK last night.

Of the three, Platinum is the one who has done the most scummy things, but has done one extra major thing that seemed townish to me: coming up with the theory that Muffle was Oberon. I think that probably cancels out.

For now I guess I'll just pick one of the other two. It might as well be a coin toss, but for now I want to intentionally vote for the one who doesn't already have a vote, just so I don't start a bandwagon based on a coin toss. I want other people to actually have a good reason for their votes. Or at least a better reason than me. Ideally I'd like to have a better reason myself before the end of the day too.

I would like to point out that piano's stance has been very helpful, but he's become increasingly quiet - could be work, sure, or sth else, and they have been more observant.

Undoubtedly, psy LockeZ and piano stand out in their rational-based analysis. LockeZ feels most genuine in that being his style.
Gut-wise, I still find it hard to get a read on either psy and piano, and that has been an issue from day 1 which also has me a bit antsy about them being together on a team.

So, have you been scum reading me or town reading me the whole game? I don't get this.

I voted first due to my not feeling comfy with Infectionfiles, and psy and piano changed ships from demonlord to IF after IF changed to lynch demonlord despite reading him town for no good reason

Yeah, it was a good lynch! I didn't even consider IF a potential lynch target, and then he just came out lying and saying he suspected demon all along and jumped on a bandwagon I had started, yes, a bandwagon I started on demonlord, and it was just such an opportunistic lynch that we had to question that. Then he said he'd been lying all along! This. Was. A. Good. Lynch. That IF flipped town doesn't change that. Would I have preferred not to lynch him? Sure. But when you see a guy lying in the thread and suddenly being opportunistic in the scum-shiftiest of ways, there is nothing else you can do. You vote who looks scum and IF looked scum.

I would agree, though I worry about a bandwagon being baited. If this ends badly, I know who to look at. Everything else made perfect sense and well... I just proved how badly you can fumble.. but at least I got the putting thoughts together right. I don't like the idea to jump on, and only on the person who could be a vital role. While also talking about roleclaiming (why in the world would Merlin get involved for that? wanting to save em? Merlin wouldn't know who Lancelot is! Right?)

You can't seem to make up your mind about whether me and psy are scum or town. When we're town, you're happy to point it out, but when we're scum, you've always suspected us. I suspect psy, but I've got to tell you, I'm starting to question my resolve here. Maybe I've been on the wrong track this whole time. I think I've got a bit of a blind spot for you. You're my favorite dragon, after all. But psy is suddenly leaning more town for me while now you're starting to lean scum. I don't think it's a blind spot, though. I think you've probably actually played a very good first game as scum. Also, I should note that going through your posts, which I didn't even think to look at until now, you've posted the most out of all of us, though I don't know compared to myself. I'm on page five of your post list, and I think I haven't even made it to the start of the game. Most of us only have three pages, and the ones I thought most active, psy for example, only have two or three pages. Then again, psy is out of town and only has reliable internet access for two hours a day.

That observation with you and psy is absolutely correct, and I really can't get a certain feeling for things, I had hoped to let that come across. Psy's 100% guarded feelwise, so what am I gonna do. It's also why it's the biggest gamble for me, and that scares me, quite frankly.
I am trying my best at being useful for town, but I don't think I am able to get anything useful going for it with the entire setup as it is.

Oh, I can see that. It's definitely something I hadn't considered reading through your posts. It's alright though. You don't really read scum to me. It read more like you were holding back.

One Q I have though is, why would respecting me make you not question me, though? I don't really get that connection. I was happy I could be as forthright n open with it, sure, but yknow. (LockeZ not just tagging me as happy town newb actually made me a bit happy lol, but now, it seems, I end up as being exactly that, and it's frustrating.)

Honestly, reading through your posts initially, I took it for granted that you were town, and put my focus on other people. It's hard for me to think of you as scum deceiving us.

Now, this looks like a solid analysis, Piano. My rpoblem with Kylaila is that I don't if she's just enthusiastic or more skilled than I give her credit for.

@Lockez, but I'm not Mordred. This feels like quite a switch based on an out of game activity. That would be a nasty amgleshoot and totally ok, if you're the mafia.
Just kidding, I've been very mild on opinions this game since I left laptop homes for a week.

I am, honestly. I don't have any logical leads I could defend in front of y'all, and you know what this entire setup means for me?
I can try to feel out who is holding back or not, and either that means they are scum, OR FRIGGING GAME OVER MERLIN. Nvm scum-chat exist, so scum will feel like they have less to hold back, cause they can say it elsewhere just fine - or at least so I worry (for those unaware, for irl mafia, scum chat DOES NOT EXIST. at least when I played it). I can't randomly suggest things, though maybe I should.
I am all over the place and I feel scum will keep me alive throughout this just so they can have town lynch me eventually, tbh.

Also oh, @piano that's also why I collected yours and demonlord's suspicion. I am not trying to force my view on you peeps, I want to make sure all is out there and heard. I don't think jumping on the latest fumble or theory alone is enough to make town win. Glad to see you back, btw, it's good to know why you were so eerily quiet. you feel more relaxed than before, but we are talking about a bit tangent things and happy dergs so that's prolly why lol.

Of all of my successful scum-hunts in the past, I can't think of one that wasn't gut-based. An inescapable fact is that every single one of us is going to say something lynch worthy in every single game. You think I'm logical? Not really. I just dress up my posts in loquacious writing to disguise the fact that I'm a ranting idiot. Now, psy. Psy's logical. He never casts a lynch vote until he's run it through a calculus equation. Seriously, when we were in Structure Mafia, he would literally tell me and Ozzy for most of his decisions that he was actually running the arithmetic on the odds of us successfully hitting scum. He told us percentages and ratios and stuff. Remember that, @Ozzy? There's your logic player.

Unless you're a maths genius like psy, your gut's usually the best you've got in this game.
