I find that a weird argument, Emily. It's very suspicious if someone hammers while people are still talking so smart scum wouldn't do that.
I am with Cave and LockeZ on that we should commit to votes and hammer, because we're not going to have any information if nobody votes. Being hesitant to vote can definitely be a scumtell. (See Odd for an example) I'm not with Cave on that needing to happen while there's still so much time on the clock though.
PA, it was fun for all of 5 seconds, but can you drop the whole impersonating me thing now? It's starting to piss me off.

I'm not really sure I think an Ozzy lynch is the best choice. It seems like he's actually trying to help town (at least on this page). He just doesn't feel much like scum to me.
I would feel the most comfortable with a PA lynch right now. I don't really feel like he's helping town. I know that's sort of his playstyle, just to cause chaos and see what happens, but that kind of doesn't change whether I think it's helpful or not. And to me it doesn't clear him in any way.
Couldn't you say a similar thing about when we are close to hammer? Although I guess that would require more town assent, and is harder to set up.

I still think Ozzy has a point. If our votes are split nearing the end of the day, then scum can tip the scales easily. Perhaps only one of them vote for the wrong target to ensure a mislynch, putting them at minimal risk.

Also, this game doesn't tell us how many scum there are like the last few did. Is it safe to assume there are three of them? That does sound right with 12 players.
I can buy the misreading given the posts, but it's demon's defense of it that I don't like.

Other minor reads before I head off.
Ozzy I'm leaning scum for reasons I find hard to articulate. Generally, his behavior feels a bit different from last game. Maybe it's a kind of nervousness? I would type more but I'm really sleep-deprived. I would probably be fine with lynching him.
LockeZ Slightly leaning town because his read on me is too out-of-nowhere to be scum. His post on page 11 (which I just read) makes the idea less stupid. Doesn't feel like scum fishing for mislynch to me. But I don't know LockeZ well.
Side note: He's actually right. Part of the reason I used that Elon musk laughing meme last game, was to be taken less seriously. Who knows, maybe it worked? But for the most part it was for the memes.
However, I always decide this stuff before the game starts. My avatar would be me disguised as Jeroen Sol no matter what.

Everyone else is neutral. My top lynch picks are Demonlord and Ozzy, but I would be pretty okay with most other targets.

Is he? He's just talking game theory and potential scum strategies.
Now I do think that's stuff he's done as town in the past, but it's also very much not the same as scumhunting.

Maybe the reason that Ozzy is different now, is that he isn't in a group chat.
Last game he would just stop by every day or so and drop this gem of perfect (more or less) logic that he and Ivory had been talking about for 3 pages. You know how many hours it took me to get through that Mason chat? Hahaha.
I was about to flame Ivory too, for being so quiet. But then I realized she isn't even in the game.

If no other wagon starts by the time I wake up tomorrow, I will vote for Ozzy and finish him off. I only have a slight gut feeling on him, and what I said above actually makes me think he's town. So I'm not that exited about lynching him, but I guess I'll take it.

That's true, although I don't think (especially on D1) that just rushing to hammer while there is still discussion is smart for anyone. It's dumb for scum only because it's also a very bad town play. I didn't mean that scum would just come right in and try to hammer immediately, just that I think it's more scummy to try to convince people to hammer earlier rather than later.
I could definitely be wrong about what all that means. That's what I thought, though.
How much time is really left in D1? Still like half a day, right?
I'll put this down because it's really what I want to do. This is my gut feeling.

I'm open to other ideas, but I feel neutral on Ozzy. I can see what Jeroen is saying too. But like, I don't think that not actively scumhunting is really a scumtell, is it?
I'd be ok with killing PA if he just continued to do zero but he, as of this page, is playing the game.

Sorry, a lot of stuff has happened, I'll be reading everything and trying to respond soon, but it's like a super important day at my college right now.
Things I've noticed:
1. On day one, everyone is at each other's throats.
2. Psychoanalysis of every post.
3. The other posts are loooong. Paragraphs. Wow.
Conclusion:
Everyone is extremely dedicated to this. They look to find the most obscure speaking patterns, looking at other people's post history, and going off of that for their normal speech.
Then, they simply read what was posted, and their previous posts to find speech differences.
All in all, you guys, combined, are like Sherlock Holmes. Jeez.
